Customer picked up a bumper in our store December 2013. Customer claimed there is an issue with the bumper on January 21, 2014. Per the instruction of the manufacturer they needed pictures of the bumper area in question and also an overall picture for identification. We have received pictures but...

not what was requested by the manufacture. We submitted the warranty claim with what we had from the customer. The vendor requested multiple times for the remaining pictures. We followed up with the customer on January 24th and again on January 28th via email that we were waiting for all the pictures which we never received all the information. Months later the customer came to the store and asked what the status of the warranty was. Again, we told her we are unable to finish the warranty because we still didn’t received the pictures. She argued that she sent us the all of the pictures and was able to show us the picture she sent us back in January but never was able to come up with the last picture we were needing. After her appearance in the store she said she would send us the picture and we followed up with her several times over the next week because we never received anything. On November 29th we finally received the last picture we needed to file the claim which was still in the warranty period and the claim was processed immediately. The shipping terms of a warranty for a bumper are going to be the original way the bumper was shipped, which was in to Big Rig Chrome Shop’s warehouse. The customer knew this and was fine with the bumper being brought into our facility. On December 29th, 2014 we contacted the customer via email to let her know the warranty bumper was in our warehouse waiting for her to pick up the bumper. She requested that Big Rig Chrome Shop pay for shipping and unfortunately the warranty only covers the original shipping method, which again was informed the customer. January 10th we emailed the customer again to inform her that the bumper was still in our warehouse waiting for her to pick up the bumper. The customer picked up the bumper on March 23rd, 2015. Which has closed this issue. We were first made aware of the damaged wheel simulators on January 21, 2015. The simulators where shipped on December 20th , 2013. I responded that I was unable to process a damage claim with the manufacture or with the shipping company because it has been over a year. I requested on January 27, 2015 to have pictures and any emails she may have sent in the past regarding the simulators. I have not received any details from the customer that we were ever informed about the damage in the past. As of April 1st 2015, we have not received any details of any kind on the simulators from the customer.  [redacted]Big Rig Chrome Shop3735 South Washburn StOshkosh,  WI 54904Phone: 920-769-0611Fax: 920-569-2022www.bigrigchromeshop.com

Review: purchased a brand new custom bumper and wheel simulators at the end of 2013. picked up the bumper and noticed a scratch and rust showing. something that would be covered under the warranty. at the same time my front wheel simulators arrived, they do not fit the truck and are dented. the packaging was not damaged so its not shipping damage. I had been dealing with [redacted] down there and notified him on both these issues. after a bunch of emails requesting pictures that I provided. he quit returning calls. I left message after message with other employees. I don't get down there often its 21/2hr drive. took off work and went down there [redacted] got in my face and kept trying to talk to my male partner rather then me. denied my contacting him and tried to deny me contacting a manager. after a hour got to speak to sara who did nothing but defend [redacted]. then got in touch with tony who refuses to speak to me on the phone. only email and not even a apology!. finnaly the new bumper came in but they will not work with me at all on getting it. tony said via email I had to have a appointment but no one answers the phone down there. I feel like they are avoiding meDesired Settlement: I would like the new bumper shipped to me or maybe someone meet me part way with it. and the wheel simulators replaced with ones that fit the truck that are not damaged.
