Big Rig power record keeping is not up to date [redacted] called many times in the next three month and stopped in two times to get work done at the Edmonton shop to get the Jake brake working or get it as close as they could to getting it working, the truck smoked very bad the whole time,(until we got it redone at a different shop now) I had called myself after the owner of the shop refused to speak with our driver, saying that he would not speak with anyone in the company that was just a driver, wanted a boss, the reason [redacted] used this truck for the delete was so this driver would follow through and fix any problems that would arise, It was never fixed and in the course of time [redacted] head Mechanic and myself diagnosed why we had to fix on the turbo adding two in the course of two years and seven gaskets and many down time hours, [redacted] could not return to the original shop as you can see they have no record and they could not fix up the truck, I had asked that we would get response from them, [redacted]

I had big rig power do a delete on my truck and from that day on my jake brake did not work,with failed numerous tries to get them to fix it they chose to ignore my pleas.I would not recommend them because once they get your money that's all they want

To start with, I gave Big Rig Power the benefit of the doubt I waited almost a year for them to contact my company or me, they did not So here is the review, HORRIBLE COMPANY Do not trust or use this companyWhy do I say this? Lets start with the promise that they were able to, and "have done in the past", successfully program my truck *** *** they were unable to do so Not only that, their programmer admitted to me that they had never successfully programmed the same truck as they promised me I have all of this in emailBRP assured me that the computer would be back to me within a week in working order, it took two months - was not in working order They also lost it for a time in that two months*** *** *** * ***
Turns out that the work did on the ECM did nothing but destroy it I currently have our truck at another shop, they pulled the ECM to program it, and BRP had made sure that no one else would be able to talk to the ECM Essentially they destroyed the computer I had to purchase a new one from International just to reprogram back to stock!
All that said, fails in comparison to the MISERABLE Customer Service that they provide! Sheri and Gary both *** ** ** *** *** would not speak to myself, the company that I ended up bringing the truck to, or the owners of my company Every time I called, conveniently they were not there So I would leave message after message, day after dayall to no avail They never once returned my callsAll this is to say that they are a company that does not stand behind their promises, product or promise to customer serviceDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! In my opinion

problem. Our work is guaranteed for the life of the truck, if our customers are having issues with the/because of the programming, they can bring it back and we will fix it. Any mechanical problems are not covered and extra charges will apply. We don't refund our product when we guarantee the program for the life of the truck. Our policies have not changed from the first date of business.
