In regards to the disputed amount of the original invoice, concerning the ECM and Labor. Big Shop Diesel Services has corrected that issue. found, the truck would have to be taken back to Big Shop Diesel Services in Grand Prairie, as the issue could not be fixed in the field. Mrs. [redacted] agreed to get the truck back to us as soon as she could. This happened in July 2016Truck returned in Aug of 2016. Technician notes: Diagnose CEL on, low power. Performed ECM Download. Found no active or inactive codes. CEL coming on due to updates performed prior and unit still processing thru drive cycles and will reset, no repairs needed. Troubleshoot complaint of low power and found engine fuel pressure below specs at idle and full throttle. Followed T/S steps and removed transfer pump and found defective. Internal failure with spring and plunger. Disassembled and replaced transfer pump and fuel check valve. Reassembled and retested pressures. Problem corrected. Fuel Pressure now within specs. Cleaned front of engine and test ran for leaks, returned unit to service.When Mrs. [redacted] brought the truck back to us in May 2017, they has continued to have some ECM issues. We were able to successfully fix those ECM issues. Mrs. [redacted] agreed to the performance upgrades we were making originally in July of 2016. These upgrades involve computer programming and from time to time, it does take some "tweaking" to get things exactly right. We would not agree to any settlement on that issue, as we have done everything we could have done to resolve the issue with the ECM. In regards to the Charge Air Cooler ... I specifically remember  talking with Mrs. [redacted] about replacing that CAC simply because we were in the middle of an overhaul and they still had the original CAC in a truck that would soon be 10 years old. The verbal agreement to replace the CAC came over the phone. So, again we would not agree to any settlement on the CAC. We do our best to provide fair pricing, quality work, and transparency. We have hundreds of satisfied customers driving around all over the United States and Canada. It is very unfortunate that Mrs. [redacted] has had this experience and we wish it was not the case.
