*** did make a reservation for a cabin and three campers along with a depositDeposits are non-refundable on cancellation and her receipt does state that

have an electrical and water hookupWhen another area became available where all three campers would have electrical and water hookups along with a larger cabin, also lakefront, I called *** and offered it to her at the same rateIt would also be more private and away from the Thunder Lake picnic, which she stated her daughter who would be using the cabin was concerned about the extra people here because of the picnicthere would be many places at our resort to hold this picnic, we have nearly a quarter mile of lake frontage and several acresThe area offered was far away from the picnic planned area
*** agreed to this change, and remarked that the picnic would be funI do believe she felt the area offered would give them better accommodations with the camping hookups instead of only hookups for campers, also more space and more privacyShe did not ask to keep cabin #closer to the picnic with less hookups for the campersShe requested to arrive a day later and I agreed to this changeThen she called and requested to change the reservation to the next weekendAgain to accommodate her I agreed to transfer the deposit
Next she called to say they would not be coming because her daughter felt the Thunder Lake picnic, in her words, "would be a wild party that her daughter did not want her children exposed to"We have hosted the thunder Lake Picnic several times for a good causeIt is not a wild party, it is a family gathering that begins at 3:p.mon a Saturday and ends before 110:p.mIt has been a great way to meet Thunder Lake neighborsOur resort has e4nver allowed wild partiesWe strongly maintain a quiet time from 10:p.mto 8:a.m
We lost revenue due to this cancellationCabin #and campsites reserved remained vacantWe cannot return the deposit but have gone out of our way to offer to apply it to another time even tho *** was informed of our non-refundable policy due to a cancellationWe did not cancel the reservation, *** did*** could have kept the original reserved area, we only offered a different are to suit their needs better
We have owned and operated this resort for years and try hard to accommodateWe could not have been in business all these years if we took advantage of anyoneIt is unfortunate that the Revdex.com has to now be involved, the first time in years!
We are going out of our way to accommodate *** by offering her to make a new reservation and her deposit would be applied, even tho reservation deposits due to a cancellation are not refundableReally, what more can we do? Isn't this more than fair?
