The first thing I would like to do is apologize if Mr or Mrs [redacted] feel they were mistreated. As a company that prides ourselves in customer service for the past 35 years, we are disappointed that one of our previous customers would feel so strongly about how they feel our "tone" was directed at...

them.  Using symbols in their complaint to represent fowl language, when we were definitely not intending this demeanor at all.  It's sometimes difficult to talk over a person, especially if your saying something they don't want to hear.
As far as the patio (stamped portion), the fissures were fixed last year by [redacted] (owner). "It is not uncommon with the stamping process for fissure cracks to occur on new concrete. These fissure cracks do not affect the integrity or detract from the look of new decorative concrete." This statement is in the contract that our customers sign when awarding their contract with Broad Spectrum. However, [redacted] asked Mrs. [redacted] on the phone when they spoke if there were any further problems and she said no, the patio was fine.
As far as the crack in the driveway, We never told them fissure cracks were not "covered". The crack in their driveway is a hairline surface crack or fissure crack 20" long. It is not structural or open. There is no way to repair a hairline crack. Our contract states "All concrete cracks. Proper joint detail will minimize stress cracks, but it is not a guarantee that a crack will not occur outside the joint." With the climate we live in and the horendous winter we had this past season, it is not uncommon for cracking in concrete. [redacted] told Mrs' [redacted] if the crack should worsen we can re-review this matter, and take corrective action at that time.
The refund they are asking for is not something we are willing to offer, nor is it even reasonable.  Unfortunately, we live in an area with severe freeze thaw and excessive ground movement.  It does not warrant a repair of any kind at this time.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
We agreed for the business to make the repair in June and since then the business had never called or attempted to contact me. I had to have another company come out and do the repairs at a cost of $70.

As long as the work is done before the season is out, I will be satisfied.  However, I am and always will be dissatisfied by the many false promises I was given by the salesman.  That particular gentleman I am not happy with. Everyone else is fine. The work the company does is great. Just want assurance the work will be completed before season is out and it appears they have stated this in their resolution.

Broad Spectrum Concrete did the concrete work for a pool we installed. The finished product was AMAZING! Had a minor issue and the customer service was fantastic. I will have them do any concrete work we need in the future. Great company.
