I have never dealt with such an uncaring and unprofessional business as this. The work they do is shoddy and when you show them the problems they don't seem to care. It is one song and dance after another and nothing gets fixed or accomplished. No one in this company seems to posses the skills to be doing work in the construction trade. I have had the inspectors back at my house 3 times already and now have found 7 more problems that need to be addressed. Very frustrating and I know it is going to be a long time before everything is resolved.

Review: They pulled my car up an embankment 50-75 , after getting my car to shoulder of road even though it was driveable would not let me drive it saying that it had to be towed back to their shop and checked out next morning to make sure it was safe to drive. After having to spend the night in a nearby hotel called the owner the next morning and was told the bill was $5000 !!! I told him that price was outrageous and he claimed it was because the State Trooper called it in as a "recovery" not a tow . I talked to the State Trooper this morning and he said that claim was false . When I left the garage I told them I was not going to pay that for a car that was only worth about $2500(2003 Chevy Implala) . Owner would not even come to the garage while we were their even though he told us he was on the way . Was not given any type of billingDesired Settlement: $500 would have been a great plenty for this service . I go to church with a Tow truck owner who said he would have only charged $250 for something like that .

This letter is in regards to complaint ID [redacted]. We were called out by the State Police on 5/29/2016at around 10:00 at night. The conversation was recorded. The dispatcher requested a rollback she saidthe vehicle went down a 50ft embankment and that we would need to bring a wrecker and chainsaws. We dispatched the wrecker and the rollback and the service truck with chainsaws. We arrived on sceneand the wrecker winched up the car the car was placed on the rollback and brought back to our shop. The customer were upset because they wanted us to release the car, but the car had steering problemsand the Head Mechanic explained that to him. The bill and the information in regards to the accidentwas provided to their insurance company in which they agreed to pay the fee for our services.Attached you will find a copy of our bill and if you have any further questions please feel free to contactus at [redacted].Thank you,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Review: Our 2007 Ford 650 Dump Truck was towed by Big Truck Tire and Repair AKA R&W Express, [redacted] on January 3rd, 2015.We experienced a breakdown on January 3rd, 2015 in route to Florida to work for the winter and called Big Truck Tire and Repair to request their assistance. We told them that we believed that the truck was experiencing rear end or axle issues and they advised us that we would not need to be present with the truck at time of pick up so that we continue our trip. We left the truck as it was with all pieces and parts intact and the equipment on it including a bobcat, demo saw, and stihl saw. They called us when they arrived on scene to tow the truck back to their shop and told us that they would call us in the morning after assessing the damages. Shortly after they called us again to advise that the wheels on the driver side of the truck had come off of the vehicle and when we asked how that had happened the driver stated he wasnt sure what had caused the additional damage. I contacted the owner, [redacted], to ask how the error had occurred and he refused to assume responsibility for the additional damage caused by his drivers negligence however, these additional damages could have easily been avoided had the driver unhooked the drive shaft or picked it up from the rear and locked the steering wheel avoiding the cost of the safety issue and losing the rear driver break and wheel system including tires, rims, and hub. After the truck arrived at their shop they advised me that the drivers side axle would need to be replaced and that and they would need to call a third party company for the that and they would need to call a third party company for the spindle repair. We agreed that I would pay the amount for the repairs once work and repairs were completed.I spoke with [redacted] at the company several times to discuss status and cost and was advised that their charges were $5000 cash and would not accept any other form of payment including a company check, money order, or credit card. These funds were sent via wire on March 10th, 2015. They are now requesting an additional $6000 to surrender the truck or are threatening to keep the additional equipment on the truck if payment is not remitted and are once again are demanding cash payment only. We have researched the cost of repairs and labor of replacing a drivers side axle and having the spindle repaired with shops in the area and the highest estimate we received was $5200. We have requested an itemized invoice documenting and outlining the work and charges from/by Big Truck Tire and Repair and they have refused to supply it. They have since become un-cooperative and aggressive.Desired Settlement: We are requesting the release of our truck and equipment and charges equalling the fair market value for the parts and labor of the repairs.
