Big Tyke was recommended to us by another business owner when we were looking for a contractor to repair water damage to the drywall and repaint following a flood caused by a broken pipe The owner was very thorough in assessing the work needed and providing a reasonable cost estimate We also decided to have additional work done including removal of popcorn and repainting ceilings throughout the house as well as replacement of bathroom fixtures and tile enclosures for two bathroomsThe company was very good to work withThey worked with our timeline and were able to finish a significant amount of work in a relatively short timeThey coordinated well with the kitchen cabinet installers and the flooring installers The drywall repairs are so well done that it's impossible to see where the numerous holes were cut The ceilings are beautiful - Big Tyke went above and beyond in the priming and painting to insure that the bright white paint job chosen was even The tile installation and shower floor repair ended up being complicated, but they took the time and made adjustments as needed to result in a very good result This is the first time that I've worked with a construction contractor and I was very pleasantly surprised at how professional Big Tyke is and how easy they are to work with

We used Big Tyke Construction LLC to completely remodel the interior of a 1978 home that had not had any work done in it since it was built. Big Tyke Construction was one of 4 companies that we received remodel bids from. He was someone that was genuine, and really talked us through many scenarios we could take in the remodel and we quickly felt comfortable and trusted him. Choosing his firm was a great choice.

[redacted] gave us a very fair bid. We had surprises, as should be expected in any remodel of a house, but he kept us informed and we worked through all those and he didn't try to keep adjusting his bid to provide add ons for everything. He had great ideas for challenges in the remodel and the outcome is beautiful. We ran into some areas where we hadn't 'envisioned' certain things the same way and when we talked through what we had hoped things would turn out like, [redacted], without question went back and adjusted things to be the way we wanted them. If there was any workmanship items that we felt weren't to where we thought they should be, [redacted] again didn't question us, just went back and redid anything we were completely happy with. He came in on time on the areas he quoted and on his bid.

We asked Big Tyke to additionally bid a front courtyard and then a back patio as additions to the original work as well. Both have been done by them. You wouldn't recognize the house as the same one we started with. It's a show piece thanks to [redacted] and his team.

We will add a third stall to our garage in the future. Big Tyke will be the first call we make when we decide to do that.

[redacted] and his team helped make our dreams come true. We down-sized, moving across the country to Arizona, and purchased a home with "good bones" and a great view, but we knew it was a home that needed a complete "make-over". We gutted all but two rooms, removed walls and popcorn ceilings, re-textured, repainted, replaced all flooring, re-configured the laundry room, cut a new door from the dining room to the garage and installed a beautiful stained glass door, added storage shelves and cabinets to the garage and installed a beautiful custom kitchen and two brand new bathrooms. It was a massive undertaking!

This project was done in the hottest months of the year (triple digits) and [redacted] did not break a sweat even though the air conditioning was turned off for most of the 7-week remodel period. We stayed on time and on budget....two incredible feats!

We lived in the house while the work was being done. Believe it or not, it was actually an enjoyable experience. We looked forward to seeing [redacted] and his crew each day. They were always timely, extremely courteous and quick to clean up each day.

[redacted] is the rare contractor who has the skill to do anything and everything although he also has the ability to attract and retain courteous, proficient employees and sub-contractors. His electrical team was stellar. Lighting was a focal point in many of the rooms. [redacted] is an excellent communicator. He is the most responsive contractor we have ever worked with. His word is good as gold!

80% of our home is tiled. The finished work is a masterpiece. There is an art to laying tile and [redacted] has definitely mastered the art.

There are not enough adjectives to describe [redacted]'s work or his character. You will be overjoyed working with this guy. We could not recommend him more highly.
