We apologize for any confusion there may be. The resident was obligated to pay for the days the apartment home was occupied, in this case the disputed days are 3/1-3/14. Upon review the charges are accurate and in fact only charged for the dates stated above. At this time there is no need for any... further adjustments made as our calculations remain accurate. The remaining charges are valid and will not be removed from the move out statement. Big Walnut strives to provide comfortable living and is always focused on excellent customer service. Thank you.

The home you chose was a different layout from the model but still had some upgraded features like the white trim, doors, and cabinets. You had the option to view this home ahead of move in but declined the option to do so.  On November 06, 2015 you told the Community Manager that you felt that the apartment you moved into was uninhabitable. That same day the Community Manager personally walked your home with you to discuss your concerns. When asked why you felt the apartment was uninhabitable you mentioned that it was outdated and dirty. You also mentioned that you had killed 3 roaches from the day prior; your move in date of November 5, 2015. Your home was cleaned prior to your move-in and we have reviewed the move-in pictures and found them to be move-in ready. In response to your report of roaches, we had 2 preventative pest treatments and both times the exterminators reported that they did not see any further activity in the home than what you had reported. The peephole mentioned is something we add for those that would like one and is a quick addition when requested. Lastly, we also wish to point out that there was a period of time that you did move a portion of your items into the apartment.  We feel that we have fulfilled our part of the lease agreement and have done everything in our power to help you feel more at home.
