he needs to get in touch with KINK BMX (policies are clearly stated in KINK online link that we providedKINK BMX handles ALL warranty claimsIt is not up to me or my shop to decide if there are warranty issues)I will need an e-mail from KINK BMX and a phone call from them if they choose to send us a replacement bikeIF the warranty has now been activated -and IF KINK BMX feels that there is a warranty issue - and IF KINK BMX sends us another bike, we can swap the old bike for one that KINK sends us - IF they send oneIf Kink BMX provides a warranty replacement - we will leave it in the box un-assembled - and Mr [redacted] can have it assembled somewhere else (at their expense) if that's what they would like to doWe are not responsible for replacements or refundsOnce again - there was nothing wrong with this bike on 7/28/There were no assembly issues or damaged parts (other than a flat rear inner tube caused by the bike rider) on 7/28/They have not been back in the shop since then.We did everything in our power to remedy the situation As you can see from the online links and forwarded attachments - the customer should be working with KINK BMX to resolve any problems that they may be havingThere are not any issues with our assembly techniquesAny assembly issues occurring after 7/28/would be caused by customer error while they were attempting to make routine adjustments on their own without proper tools or mechanic skills or by RIDER USE & ABUSE.I am sorry to hear that they do not want this bike anymoreWe do not buy back used bicycles.Thank you, [redacted] , ownerBigfoot Bike & SkateEast Ward St.Milwaukee, WI 53207mobile: 312-401-8491store phone: 414-332-3479www.bigfootbikeandskate.comI was under the impression that any issues regarding this bicycle were resolved I am confused and saddened by this blatantly fabricated claimWe are a BMX bike specialty shopThis is what we doPlease see Kink BMX warranty policy online: https://www.kinkbmx.com/warranty/Please see Bigfoot Bike and Skate shipping and return policy online:http://www.bigfootbikeandskate.com/shipping__return_policiesPlease review the attachments (copies of receipts from 7/13/AND 7/28/16, our display card, and handbook / warranty info provided at time of purchase).Details:Mr [redacted] came into my shop posturing, screaming, and ranting - Bigfoot Bike and Skate shipping and return policy online:http://www.bigfootbikeandskate.com/shipping__return_policiesPlease review the 4 attachments (copies of receipts from 7/13/16 AND 7/28/16, our display card, and handbook / warranty info provided at time of purchase).Details:Mr. [redacted] came into my shop posturing, screaming, and ranting - demanding a replacement for the 2017 KINK BMX CURB bike (blue) - stating it had warranty issues. There was no mention of improperly assembled bicycles at time time. After some frustration for both of us, I was able to understand his perceived concerns.Once again I explained the KINK BMX warranty policy and the Bigfoot Bike & Skate warranty and return policy (it was also explained at time of purchase). Our policies are clearly posted at the check out counter. I explained that we do not warranty or provide refunds on bicycles and other extreme sports items because they are subject to extreme use and rider abuse. Parents don't always see what a child is doing to their bike or with their bike. That is why we have this policy and I explain it. I also explained how daily adjustments are very important on BMX bikes because parts will come loose even under gentle riding conditions. Loose parts can become damaged parts/may not work properly.I explained that we would be happy to work with Mr. [redacted] and KINK BMX once the warranty registration took place (the bike had not been registered/warrantied as of 7/28/16) and after they had contacted KINK BMX  (KINK BMX would then contact me. They have not contacted me. No claim has been submitted by Mr. [redacted]). The flat tire was caused by the rider - it was punctured by a glass shard. I removed it and showed it to him. I covered the cost of the new inner tube and I installed it for free as a kind gesture. I also did an on the spot "tune up" and assessment with Mr. [redacted] while he watched. He was concerned that the front wheel wasn't spinning properly and that the drivetrain/chain wasn't smooth. I showed him that the wheel was centered and spun freely. I explained how newer sprocket/drivetrain systems feel rougher/louder than old models because of the smaller number of teeth on the sprockets. I also demonstrated how to properly remove/install the rear wheel (he was concerned it wouldn't come off if needed because of the short drop outs) and how to achieve proper chain tension. I double checked all nuts and bolts to make sure they were tight. I made sure bearing tension was correct in the wheel hubs, headset and bottom bracket. I showed him how to adjust the brakes. I made sure the rims were straight and the tires were full or air. I made sure everything was properly assembled. The bike was in perfect mechanical condition at time of sale and on 7/28/16. I have been a bicycle mechanic for over 30 years. I did this all for free ($65.00 retail value) although I did not have to. Receipt attachment 'Revdex.com 1' is from customer visit on 7/28/16.WE EXAMINED THE BIKE THOROUGHLY WITH MR. [redacted]. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS BIKE THAT WOULD REQUIRE A WARRANTY PARTS REPLACEMENT. THERE WERE NO ISSUES WITH IMPROPER ASSEMBLY. THIS BIKE WAS ASSEMBLED BY A MASTER MECHANIC WITH 30 YEARS EXPERIENCE. THIS BIKE WAS PROPERLY ASSEMBLED and DOUBLED CHECKED WITH MR. [redacted] WHILE HE WAS WATCHING!!
