When she called back, [redacted] said it was not prorated and I infonned her that Ineeded the name of the new owner so that they could be billed. I also told [redacted] that Iwould check with the driver to see if’ there was an abundance of garbage that he pickedup at her location. Upon speaking with the driver he informed me that he had picked up ahouse cleanout pile 2 weeks in a row, which in a nonnal situation we do not do. Wewould nonnally leave the trash there and contact the customer to let them know that theyneed to rent a 1 Oyard roll off box dumpster, which would have cost [redacted] $300. Review: Company bills quarterly for Monongahela. I paid for the third quarter of service 07/08/2014 (due date 7/10/14) and moved to [redacted] in the middle of July. They will not refund my Aug and Sept monies that I paid. I have called 7 times with no avail. First, they told me that the closing company would pay for the new people, then I would get refunded. This was not true as the closing company is not responsible for that, as noted on the statement of closing. I called a few times and they informed me they hadn't yet received payment from the new homeowners. Then I called and they told me they never billed the new homeowners for that quarter so I had to pay since they couldn't go without payment. I called again and they said that I probably used 3 months worth of trash collection since I was moving and the lady said, "I know when I moved, we had to hire a dumpster for all of our trash." I informed her that we put no excessive amounts of trach curbside as we took most everything with us to the new property, are minimalists and don't accumulate stuff. We did throw out a small desk (like 48" x 18"), but are permitted one large item per month. I called again and they said the garbage man who serviced our home wrote a report that he took alot of trash from our house one week, but they would recheck and get back to me. I have never heard from them again.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the 2 months of service that I paid for, but did not get. Total $18.
