I purchased a pre-owned *** Truck from an individual. I hired Wayman to get my title put in my name. I paid him $300.00 for this service, but did not get a receipt for that. A couple days later he text a copy of the receipt to me, but it listed a bunch of repairs that were not done by him or anyone else. By certified mail he sent a letter telling me to sign off on a document that would allow him to put a lien on the vehicle for repair costs (that were never done), and return the signed document to him. I refuse to do that, he never did any repairs, he was only suppose to get the title fixed. The receipt is for $3538.70 plus 45.00/day for storage, and he never had possession of the car.
The vehicle was towed to my facility for repairs. A work order was sign that states if bill is paid a mechanics lien will be placed for none payment. A few months after down payment was made.which left a balance of $3,238.70. When vehicle was done called customer for balance. A few weeks went by the vehicle then was taken with out bill being paid. I then advised her hat I will file a lien on that vehicle. Was told by her that I could not do that. My company is a scam and I'm a scam and I just wanted her vehicle. I have attached the work order that was sign by customer.
