I had two rings made at the Osborne location and dealt with the owner, Ashiq, personally.
Issues are in point form to limit space required.
1. Date of delivery was not met despite owner insisting that the ring would be ready on the date promised. Owner went so far as to state that the ring would be ready for pickup on a Sunday (store normally closed). Ring was finally ready 8 business days after the promised date.
2. The ring delivered was a size 5 instead of the size 7 ordered, consequently resulting in much smaller stones and physical appearance. No quote/description was given when ordered. When I asked for one the owner said that he would write the details on "his" work sheet. Upon delivery of the ring, I questioned the owner on the size issue, he said I ordered a size 5 and produced the work order (something I never seen before) indicating a size 5. When his designer heard us arguing about the details he came out and confirmed that a size 7 was ordered as it was still on the computer design program. The ring was resized but now appears too small for the size of ring. The owner offered to take $200 off the second ring.
When the second ring was ready (owner would not even offer a completion date) the owner presented a bill that had been altered to show the original price had been increased by $200 and then discounted $200 as promised. Once again I had never seen the work order nor was the ring I gave him to salvage for the construction of the second ring even mentioned. I had taken notes at our first meeting and when I told him I was going to go home and find them he recanted and reduced the ring to the original price.
3. Lastly, they rarely answer the phone and do not always follow their posted hours of business, making it very difficult for any appointments following the first.
