Mrs [redacted] placed a reservation online on May 25, Booking Transaction Number: [redacted] for Bike Volcano's Full Day Bike Adventure of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park booked for June 4, Mrs [redacted] agreed to BikeVolcano.com's terms and conditions when she placed her reservation which clearly states in the cancellation policy there is 100% cancellation fee for cancellations received within hours of a tourIt is states that there are no refunds for "no shows"This policy is clearly stated on Bike Volcano's website and the customer's booking receipt A person from the [redacted] party called Bike Volcano at 9:11am on June 4, and stated that her party would not be able to meet the tour at 9:45am at the Visitor Center in the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park due to a broken car windowThis person also stated that they were located about minutes outside of Hilo (where there is taxi service and public transportation available)We informed the [redacted] party that we would try to accommodate the late arrival of their party of if they could get to the Visitor's Center in the National Park by 11:15am that morningIt is the customer's responsibility to meet the tour at designated meeting location and time which is clearly stated on their booking receiptTheir party did not arrive until 11:52am which was past the point that the [redacted] party would be able to join the tour and ride a bicycle due to the location of the tour and the logistical timing to conduct a required pre-ride bicycle safety lecture and orientationWe suggested to Mrs [redacted] that her only option would be to drive her own vehicle and follow the tour which she declined to doInstead she requested to reschedule the tour to another date Although it was not required, we offered to reschedule the [redacted] party on a tour on June 5, (at which time there were spots available) and on June 6, (at which time there were spots available), which she declinedIt was Mrs [redacted] choice not to split up her group and take the tour although these were the only spaces available during the dates that she stated she was available to reschedule Bike Volcano responded by email to Mrs [redacted] requests for a refund on June 30, and July 24, In addition, Bike Volcano is a member of the Activities & Attractions Association of Hawaii (AAAH)Our cancellation policy reflects the recommendation and standards implemented by the AAAH for tour operators in the State of Hawaii Bike Volcano only accepts ***, [redacted] , and [redacted] credit cardsWe encourage all of our guests to read our policies before placing a reservation with us
