The owners of this business refuse to refund the remaining $79.73 on my gift certificate. They closed unexpectedly this month and took the money.I was given a gift certificate for $100 by my brother as a birthday present for this studio. I don't usually practice yoga there but purchased a mat there, and was told to "come back in the fall" by one of the owners ([redacted]) when they will have more clothes. $79.73 was left on the gift certificate. When I went there a few weeks ago I saw they closed. I asked my yoga studio about it and they said that the owners just closed (maybe I flood, I don't know) and that they now practice yoga in town at other studios, and also teach at other studios. I emailed one of the owners, [redacted] ([redacted]) twice now, and also a [redacted] message, about getting a refund since I had no idea they were closing and they told me to come back at this time. I have not heard back at all, though I know she teaches at another studio, so is around (for example, she teaches here: http://[redacted]).She ignores my messages and I also know didn't go bankrupt, and I don't know what the Revdex.com can do but if something, that would be very helpful. I feel that it is awkward to approach other studios to try to find her, as it puts me in a very strange position as a patron in this city. I don't know what other students did with anything left over from the [redacted], but I think it seems like theft and this person should not be allowed to continue to be part of a business in the ways she is when she effectively made off with people's money.
