BILD-INC.

There are not enough characters allowed to detail my complaints about my experience with BILD-INC and their designer partner. It has been a manipulative process from the start. Promises, then demands/change of plans before delivery. The final straw was when I gave BILD-INC. 1500.00 on November 20th at their request, as the supposed 'final step' in receiving the 'detailed estimate' and designs I had been promised they were working on for months. While I disagree principally with the idea of having to pay them at that point after having multiple conversations about the work and having been told the detailed estimates and designs were already in process (with no mention of this down payment needed prior to delivery - which, by the way, is in addition to the 1500.00 their partner designer required) I had invested months of time already waiting on these items from them and just wanted to get it moving. I was told the 1500.00 would go down toward the work to be done, so I thought I had nothing to lose. A month later it began to become apparent that they did NOT intend to give me the detailed estimate I was promised, unless I signed a contract for the work to be done. Sign a contract before you tell me what you will charge for the work? I stated that I gave the 1500.00 as a good faith down payment, so that I would received the detailed estimate and designs. I was then handed a copy of an email, from their designer partner TO BILD-INC. with some scribbled numbers next to SOME items of work (not even close to all, and not even the most pressing work to be done). The range was huge and it was not detailed nor did it give me much information to go off of. Then I read the email text itself, it said "we only give her an outline for a range of costs no way are we going to give her a line item breakdown". I don't think he meant to give that to me, but it proves them untrustworthy and I definitely would not give them another dime. I spoke to Brian on 1/21/19 about my concerns and requested my money back.
