I just received a complaint from the Revdex.com in reference to your current vehicleOn May 5, you purchased a Hyundai Tucson with 63,miles on itYou have since put over 30,miles on the vehicle in less than one yearI have no record or memory of you stating any
issues pertaining to this particular vehicle in the time you have owned itThis entire complaint is based on a sales consultant from another dealership telling you that they were unable to trade you out of your car because of the accident that is reported on the vehicle history reportsThat couldn't be further from the truth, the reason you are having a difficult time trading out of your current vehicle is because when you purchased it in May of you did a month loan with no money down and finance the entire loan amountNo cash down, trading out in the first year of a month loan, and putting 30,mile on it in the mean time is the real problemWhen you came to the dealership in April I offered you way above fair trade value but the payment didn't fit your budget, your budget is not my problemI did everything in my power to get you out of your vehicle and you declinedI don't see where Bill Alexander Flightline Mazda did anything wrong, illegal, or unethicalI have attached the *** *** *** that states the vehicle was in an accident and nothing moreThe vehicle is not salvaged, restored salvage, theft recovery, lemon law buy back, or a flood damage vehicle, it shows it was in accident and nothing more the fact is out of used cars that are for sale show an accident on the history reports and that doesn't mean they are worth less or are unsafe.Thank you,*** ** ***General ManagerBill Alexander Flight-line Mazda

We have reached out to Mr. [redacted] to try and resolve his issue. Mr. [redacted]'s terms are not reasonable. It appears that Mr. [redacted] is going through buyer remorse and or is having a difficult time making his payments. We started receiving complaints around the same time his payments started. First he accused us of committing fraud to get his loan approved and filed a complaint with the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions which they deemed was not in violation. Mr. [redacted] then filed a complaint with Arizona Attorney Generals office for selling him a "wrecked" vehicle and he was "grossly overcharged" which is just another attempt to get money or out of his loan. Then he claims that his vehicle is only worth $19,000 dollars which is also false. The truth is Mr. [redacted] wasn't overcharged, we did not know it had been in an accident when we sold it, there was not any visible evidence that it had been in an accident, there is no brand on the title, the vehicle was repaired 18 months before he purchased it, the original customer drove it an additional 40,000+ miles after the "wreck", a well known certified body shop preformed the repairs, they replaced a rear bumper, the exhaust tips, and tow hitch. This is becoming repetitive and tired some, we have an outstanding track record that shows the integrity of our business. We have been reluctant to offer Mr. [redacted] any resolution due to his accusations about our company. I will however offer to buy his truck from him for $28,000 dollars assuming it is in the same condition it was when we sold it to him. We run a model dealership and we have a fantastic reputation that we've worked very hard to earn and even harder to retain. I know Mr. [redacted] has tried to paint a different picture but the truth is we would never risk all that we've done for any amount of money or any car deal. I hope this response will get this matter resolved so we all can move on.

Im not sure what else I can to do to make Ms. [redacted] happy with our dealership. The day you were in the dealership after we spoke we were able to find you a vehicle, I personally appraised your vehicle for more than it is worth to help get you out of it but the payment was out of your budget. I am willing to try and do that again for you. I just want you to understand the reason you have negative equity is not because your current car was claimed to be in an accident, its simply because the mileage that was put on the car in the time you have had it. That isn't the dealers doing. I can appraise your vehicle and try to get you another vehicle but I cant promise you that the payment will be what it is now or even close to what it is. When we worked up a deal on the Journey when you came in we were able to sell you the other car but the payment was out of your budget and we didn't penalize you for any vehicle history report issues. This all comes down to the mileage and the amount you paid down on the car nothing else. There is no money to refund, all we can offer is we can try to trade you out of that vehicle again.

To whom it may concern, This will be the second complaint that my company has had to respond to concerning Mr. [redacted]. Since I was the acting sales manager on this deal I am very familiar with it. Mr. [redacted] deal was not only fair but it was also compliant. I cant speak for Mr....

[redacted]'s current financial burden but I can say with confidence it was not caused or provoked by Bill Alexander Automotive Center. The vehicle that Mr. [redacted] purchased was purchased by our dealer at the [redacted] in Phoenix, Arizona where the vehicle was put through a PSI (POST SALE INSPECTION) which it passed. The auction will inform the dealer of any major issues, frame damage, check engine light, engine noise, transmission issues ect.. Once the vehicle arrived at the dealership it was put through our Zurich Certified safety process. The alleged accident is not a factor on this deal. There is no visible damage nor effect to this vehicle the matter of this accident "diminishing" its value is subjective at best. The auction I purchased it from didnt sell it below market value, and the lending institution Mr. [redacted] financed it through did not decrease the value of the collateral they were using. I am now well aware that Mr. [redacted] is not longer happy with his vehicle however there is nothing more I can do for him. I have attached the front and back copies of the "Buyers Guide" with his signature on it, I also have attached the last complaint resolution from Arizona Department of Financial Institutions. Please if anymore info is needed regarding this matter please do not hesitate to reach out. God bless and have a great day

The fact is: the Bill Alexander dealership failed to disclose critical information. Further, they have not taken any ownership or responsibility of this issue, have made no attempt to resolve, and instead, they have choosen to attempt to malign me as a consumer in this matter.

Regards,

I just received a complaint from the Revdex.com in reference to your current vehicle. On May 5,2014  you purchased a 2011 Hyundai Tucson with 63,718 miles on it. You have since put over 30,000 miles on the vehicle in less than one year. I have no record or memory of you stating any...

issues pertaining to this particular vehicle in the time you have owned it. This entire complaint is based on a sales consultant from another dealership telling you that they were unable to trade you out of your car because of the accident that is reported on the vehicle history reports. That couldn't be further from the truth, the reason you are having a difficult time trading out of your current vehicle is because when you purchased it in May of 2014 you did a 75 month loan with no money down and finance the entire loan amount. No cash down, trading out in the first year of a 75 month loan, and putting 30,000 mile on it in the mean time is the real problem. When you came to the dealership in April I offered you way above fair trade value but the payment didn't fit your budget, your budget is not my problem. I did everything in my power to get you out of your vehicle and you declined. I don't see where Bill Alexander Flightline Mazda did anything wrong, illegal, or unethical. I have attached the [redacted] that states the vehicle was in an accident and nothing more. The vehicle is not salvaged, restored salvage, theft recovery, lemon law buy back, or a flood damage vehicle, it shows it was in accident and nothing more the fact is 1 out of 6 used cars that are for sale show an accident on the history reports and that doesn't mean they are worth less or are unsafe.Thank you,[redacted]General ManagerBill Alexander Flight-line Mazda

To whom it may concern,  On March 26th [redacted] visited our dealership interested in purchasing a pre-owned 2011 Ford Explorer. We came to an agreement and they decided to consummate the transaction. In the terms of the contract they would be putting down 1500...

dollars in the form of a check. [redacted] had a prior commitment and didn't have time to sign her portion of the papers and left [redacted] to sign his portion. [redacted] wrote out the check for 1500 dollars and left with an appointment to return later that evening. We receipted the 1500 dollar check after [redacted] signed his portion and gave him a receipt. [redacted] returned to the dealership later that evening with buyers remorse and decide to cancel the transaction that we had came to an agreement on earlier that day. [redacted] called the dealership on Friday the 28th stating that we cashed her 1500 dollar down payment check and demanded a refund. We explained to [redacted] that the check has yet to clear our account and as soon as we received confirmation we would process a refund check. That wasn't satisfactory to [redacted] so we asked her to provide confirmation from her bank saying it had already cleared her account, and she couldn't. We talked to [redacted] bank, and the banker also confirmed the check had not cleared the account. I am not sure what Bill Alexander Flight-line Mazda did wrong in this matter, I do understand that [redacted] doesn't agree with the out come of this situation however this is a standard operating procedure for most all organizations. I have attached a copy of their refund check dated the 28th of March which we happily release to the [redacted] or [redacted] as soon as we confirm the check has cleared. Respectfully[redacted] General Manager

We have already resolved this issue with the customer.

In Jan 2014, I bought a used Mitsubishi Outlander Sport from [redacted]; after driving the vehicle for one day, I noticed the following:
*The tire pressure warning light was on; this was on even when I bought the vehicle but I was assured by the sales representative that it would eventually go off as the car warmed up. The light never went off the entire time I drove it.
*The vehicle had damage to the driver’s side front end; upon first looking at it, it looked like scratches to the front bumper and headlight. After driving the vehicle, the driver’s side front fender and bumper detached itself from the rest of the vehicle and had to be forcibly shoved back into the vehicle so it did not pop out, while the gap between the hood and the driver’s fender was big enough to insert a finger into. (On the other side the gap was standard; very thin)
*There were only two new tires; the two rear were brand new and the two front were nearly bald.
After noticing these issues, I returned the vehicle to the dealership. After speaking with management they agreed that I could return this vehicle and cancel the contract as long as I chose another vehicle from their lot.
The vehicle I chose the second time around was a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee; the night I signed the documents for the Grand Cherokee, the sales representative and I were sitting in the vehicle and I asked how the four-wheel drive worked. We tried the four-wheel drive switch and immediately got an error that the transmission needed service.
I brought the vehicle back as soon as I could to have the transmission serviced; this service was covered by the dealership.
The second thing I had notice was an intermittent rattle from the passenger side front end. I brought the Jeep back to the dealership and told them about the noise. They kept the vehicle for a day; when I picked up the vehicle a second time, there was no charge and they assured me the rattle was “no big deal” and “only a loose bolt” which they had tightened. Pulling out of the dealership, I noticed the same noise as what I had just turned it in for but at that point I did not have time to go without my vehicle for yet more time.
On Feb 6th, the rattle was becoming worse and worse. I took the vehicle to the local Jeep dealership to see what they could find, thinking that *maybe* the Grand Cherokee is specialized so it’s hard to find issues. The local Jeep dealership gave me an extensive print out of work they recommend be done to the front end (I’ve done a separate review on that experience). Jeep listed the following: struts, shocks and lower control arm replacement for about 1300.00-1600.00.
I took the print out from the Jeep dealership to the Mazda dealership and showed the print out of what Jeep had found to the Mazda service manager. A few hours later the Mazda service manager called to tell me that I did not need new front shocks or struts, but that I DID need the lower control arms and the total cost to me would be “just under” 1000.00 for parts and labor. I never saw an estimate in writing and the Mazda dealership requires that 50% of the parts be bought prior to them scheduling work. I told them (Mazda) that I would wait until the next day. Mazda acted as if they would be doing me a favor for “only” having to spend 1000.00 as opposed to the 1300.00-1600.00 the Jeep dealership quoted me.
The next day (Feb 7th, 2014) I spoke with one of the service managers who asked that I come by to see if they could “work” with me on the cost of the repair but that he couldn’t “promise” anything but that they valued my business.
Before going to the Mazda dealership, I decided to take the Grand Cherokee to [redacted]; I have done business with [redacted]’s for a long time and was curious what they would find.
They ultimately found that a bolt on the lower control had the thread stripped; they rethreaded the bolt and fixed the problem and charged me NOTHING. No parts were needed. No struts, no shocks and no lower control arm. Nothing.
So, to recap, I made the mistake of choosing to buy not one, but two problem vehicles from [redacted]; my bad for not doing more research. However, it has not even been ONE MONTH since I bought the vehicle and they appeared to be very happy to charge me close to 1000.00 for work I didn’t actually need on my vehicle.
While I appreciate that they “worked” with me in canceling the contract on the first unsafe vehicle, the fact that they were selling a vehicle that was in need of so much work speaks volumes about the care they do NOT take in their vehicles before reselling them. And to then to try to convince me that I needed work done that I did not need? Double nail in the coffin for both the Jeep dealership and the Mazda dealership.
I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, ever, unless you’re willing to go in there with a combative personally and argue every point with them. Maybe that’s how most people do business with car dealerships; I’m not sure. But I will never, ever set foot in this business ever again.

Review: IN MAY 2014 I PURCHASED A HYNDAI TUCSON FROM BILL ALEXANDER IN YUMA AZ. THIS YEAR MY FAMILY HAS GROWN AND I AM IN NEED OF A BIGGER VEHICULE. ON APRIL 16,2015 I WENT TO [redacted] IN PEORIA, AZ I TALKED TO A SALESMAN NAMED [redacted]. I TOLD HIM I WAS INTERESTED IN A VEHICULE WITH A THIRD ROW SEAT HE SHOWED ME A VARIETY OF CARS. I WAS INTERESTED IN A DODGE JOURNEY, TEST DROVE IT AND LET HIM KNOW THAT THAT WAS THE CAR I WAS INTERESTED IN. AS WE SAT DOWN TO DO PAPERWORK MY CAR WAS GETTING APPRAISEDBY ONE OF THERE EMPLOYEES. THEY PULLED UP INFORMATION ON MY VEHICULE THROUGH [redacted], WHICH THEY INFORMED ME OF MY CAR BEING IN TWO ACCIDENTS AND THE AIR BAGS WERE DEPLOYED. THEREFORE BASED ON THE INFORMATION FROM [redacted] IT WOULD DECREASE THER VALUE ON MY HYNDAI TUCSON. THIS WAS INFORMATION I WAS NEVER AWARE OF. THE OPTION [redacted] GAVE ME WERE NOT WORKABLE FOR ME DUE TO THEM WANTING A VERY HIGH MONTHLY PAYMENT OR MONEY DOWN. SO I TOLD HIM I WOULD LOOK AROUND AT OTHER PLACE, HE INFOPRMED THAT BECAUSE OF THE [redacted] INFORAMTION IT WAS GONNA BE HARD FOR ANOTHER DEALERSHIP TO ACPECT MY CAR BECAUSE OF THE CONDITION IT WAS IN. IN APRIL 18,2015 I WENT TO A CAR SALE THAT AEA CREDIT UNION WAS HOSTING. I SPOKE TO A SALESMAN NAMED [redacted] FROM [redacted], I TOLD HIM I WAS INTERESTEDIN A DODGE JOURNEY. HE FOUND ONE I REALLY LIKED, SO WE SAT AND WENT OVER PAPERWORK AND HE INFORMED ME THAT THEY HAD TO APPRAISE MY CAR. HE ALSO INFORMED ME OF THE [redacted] INFORMATION THAT THE AIR BAGS BEING DEPLOYED WAS GONNA BE A BIG ISSUE. THE OPTIONS HE GAVE ME WERE NOT AFFORDABLE FOR ME. A COUPLE DAYS LATER I CALLED BILL ALEXANDER AND SPOKE WITH THE GENERAL MANAGER [redacted] AND INFORMED HIM OF THE SITUATION THAT I WAS HAVING WITH TRYING TO TRADE IN MY CAR. I ALSO TOLD HIM THAT I DIDNT THINK IT WAS FAIR FOR HIS SALESMAN NICK HADSOLD ME A CAR THAT HAS BEEN IN TWO ACCDIENTS AND THAT THE AIR BAGS WERE DEPLOYED. HE TOLD ME HE WOULD WORK SOMETHING OUT WITH ME AND WANTED MY AND MY HUSBANDS INFORMATION SO HE CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT.Desired Settlement: TILL THIS DAY NO ONE HAS CALLED ME TO OFFER ME ANYTHING. I HAVE REASEARCHED AND TALKED TO PEOLPE ABOUT MY SISTUATION THERE IS MANY DIFFERENT THING THAT COULD OF BEEN FOR AIR BAGS TO BE DEPLOYED. I WOULD LIKE FOR BILL ALEXANDER TO WORK SOMTHING OUT WITH ME EITHER WORK ON GETTING ME A DIFFERENT CAR WITH NO [redacted] HISTROY OR TO TAKE BACK MY HYNDAUIAND REFUND ME MY MONEY BACK.I FEEL MY FAMILY IS IN DANGER DUE TO THE SITUIATION. AS A CUSTOMER I FEEL I HAVE A RIGHT TO PUT IN MY COMPLAINT FOR SAFEFTY

Review: I recently went in to buy a car on 5/7/16 and went in and test drove a Mitsubishi Outlander with aftermarket rims and a Mazda 3. I enjoyed both so asked to get quotes on both vehicles. Turns out the Mitsubishi would had better incentives so I went with that. They made me an offer on the Mitsubishi and I countered there offer which they in return came back with another offer. After thinking about it I accepted, a salesman went to rinse the vehicle while I signed the paperwork in finance. The dealership at this time was now closed so the salesman gave me a we owe for a full tank of gas and a detailed wash. The salesman told me to come in during my lunch on Tuesday 5/10/16 to get my full tank of gas and detail like they owed me and to do my walk around. Since they had already closed for the day when I purchased the vehicle. So as scheduled I went in on 5/10/16 on my lunch with a list of things I noticed wrong with the vehicle, they then told me that the rims were not part of the deal and are trying to claim to have verbally told me that the rims weren't going to be included. I have a witness that was with me the whole time the deal was made that can testify that they never once verbally to me the rims weren't part of the deal, I asked the dealership for something in writing to prove that the rims weren't included in the deal and the GM nor the salesman and two others could find such a letter stating that the rims weren't included . I was delivered this vehicle on 5/7/16 rims and all. I can't verbally tell them that they owe me a sunroof and expect them to grant it when it never happened so they can't fail to disclose that they were going to take rims off the deal and expect to get them back when they originally delivered the vehicle to me this way.Desired Settlement: Since they failed to physically disclose that the rims were not going to be part of the deal nor can they find such proof... The delivery of the vehicle needs to remain as is per the deal and lack of proof.

Review: Bill Alexander Mazda deposited/cashed a check without me signing contract. I never signed contract to purchase vehicle and they went ahead and cashed check that I had initially given them as a down payment.

They are very shady when it comes to doing business.

i.e. they wanted to charge me $399.00 for theft protection without telling me. They say the add this to all of their vehicles, but they never tell you that this is a charge that will be passed on to you.

They also use the term, "we will pay off your trade it", but what they really mean is negative will be added to your loan and you are the one that is actually paying off that loan.Desired Settlement: I really want them to be removed from Revdex.com, I have had 2 bad experiences with this dealership.
