Bill Alexander Toyota Reviews (5)

After speaking with the customer about his concern with his

vehicle purchase and reviewing the paperwork along with the contract related to

the vehicle purchase, it was determined that the paperwork accurately reflected

the total purchase price of $25,000 and a customer down...

payment of $500,

leaving a remaining balance of $24,500. [redacted] credit union, per the agreement

issued the dealership a check for the amount for $24,500, which left the

remaining balance of the customers down payment of $500. After speaking with

the customer he understands that he is responsible for the $500 and would be in

this week to pay the balance. The dealership will help resolve any additional

questions or concerns the customer may have with his vehicle purchase.

Review: My toyota venza 2013 cost me out the door $24,500. My bank [redacted] federal credit union was going to finance me $24000 and I was going to give the dealership $500. I bought the car on a friday. I went to the bank on monday to get the check to pay the dealeship. When I get to the bank, the bank decided to finance me the $24,500 (plus $350 for their gap insurance). As soon as I got the check, I turned it in to the dealership. I got a received from the payment of $24,500. The next day [redacted] from the Alexander Toyota dealership finance team called me to see, about when I was going to pay them the $500. I told him the story that it was already paid. Then in the afternoon, he called me again asking who I turned in the check to? I told him, I gave it to a lady in the dealeship that already gave me a received. He stated "ok, fine". Two days later Emilio, (the salesman) called me again about when I was going to turn in the $500dlls. I told him the same story, I told tim. He stated, He did not know. He called twice about it too. This Week I received a letter from Sarah from their financial department stating they were going to send me to collections because I have not paid the $500. This is outrageous!!!! If they gave me a receipt from the delarship of my payment of $24,500 and they cant check that and to have numerous people call me and now trying to send me to collections for something already paid. This business is not conduction good faith business.Desired Settlement: they need to apologized and look at their bills. the car is paid in full and they are harrazing me with treat that the $500 are not paid when the check is for $24500. Their offices need to talk to each other and work together and not harrass the clients. I am not conducting my business again with this company.

I went to Alexander Toyota following an offer of 100% of MSRP for trade-in. When I went in, I showed the salesman who informed me that was for Alexander Ford (another dealership) but that "we can work with you." The dealership offered me [redacted] for my trade and full cost for car. This may seem like a fair deal but I wasn't interested in a fair deal -- I would rather just stay with my car and I let salesperson know this. He went back to the sales manager and the negotiating commenced. He would come back and say "how about this for a minimum payment with X down"? and I would ask, how much are you giving me for my trade-in and/or how much are you selling my car and we would not tell me. Instead, would just say "how much do you want your monthly payment to be." We kept going through this dance and again I told him I wasn't interested in getting another car just to be more in the negative (I was already $12000K under on my current car!). I asked him that I wanted to go home and sleep on it. But he wouldn't let me leave "hold on, let me talk with manager again" -- blah blah blah. This is the reason I hate buying cars! I made it very clear that I didn't want to just carry over all debt onto new loan -- I came in because I was hoping to get a GREAT deal on trade in (over [redacted]) so not so upside down. As I was walking out, he offered me one more offer which is a number I gave him just off the top of my head. He said you have a deal and we shook hands. The LAST paper I signed in financing dept. was the contract -- and by that time it was 4.5 hours later and I just wanted to go home! So unfortunately I signed it. Next day I read it CLEARLY and the reason I got the lower payment was because I got an 84 month loan!! My current loan is 72 months -- but at the dealership I was told that I would have the same loan! I immediately went to dealership and asked to speak with manager and he tried to deal me into another car. But I didn't like the other car. Then they got the salesman to try to pressure me again. Again, said no, Then they sent me to finance manager and he said they could give me $1000 more for trade, but that's it -- take it or leave it (there is no cooling off period). So, I took it. But I'm NOT happy -- this is NOT what I wanted -- basically in a car that I don't like nor want. Long story short, buyer beware of this place--- they will pressure you until you don't know what you are doing anymore. Stay AWAY!

Ask for [redacted] or [redacted] – Both are amazing salesman. My husband and I recently purchased a Toyota Sienna from Alexander Toyota in Yuma, and could not be more pleased. We made multiple trips to dealers around town as we looked, and so we worked with two different salesmen while we were shopping at Alexander Toyota.
[redacted] ([redacted]) is great guy. You never doubt that he wants to sell you a car, but he is not too pushy. He knew a lot about the vehicles, and if he didn’t have the answers, he went and got them right away. He stayed late one night to go over the vehicle with us, and didn’t utter a single complaint when we left without buying that day. Before he delivered the car to us he helped set up the blue tooth, go over the owner’s manuals, and made sure we were completely comfortable with the car before we left.
[redacted] is the perfect complement to [redacted]. He has a calming personality and is a pleasure to just talk to. We felt no pressure from [redacted] at all, and were sure that he wanted us to get the best possible deal, so could get a car we could afford. He introduced us to the service department, and other people at the dealership, so we would feel comfortable when we come back for our service. He is very polite and it was a pleasure to work with him.
Overall our experience at Alexander Toyota was a great one, and we look forward to buying another car from them in the future.

Review: I purchased a brand new car with a 500$ cash rebate. I have the rebate on my guarantee paper I received and sign upon completion of sale. About two weeks has gone by and no rebate yet. I called the dealership and spoke to someone in finance and was told they used it as a down payment with my trade! I specifically told them I am not giving them a down payment. I signed the agreement guaranteeing my 500$ rebate. I did not sign any paper saying it would be used as a down payment. I was told to come back tomorrow because that part of the office is closed.Desired Settlement: I want my 500$ rebate.
