Mr*** hired my company to remove a Pine tree and two bushesOn 12/11/we completed the jobThe next day I received a call from Mr*** stating that there had been damage done to his gateI told him that I was not aware of any damages done, and that I would come out and take a look
at it the next day, which was FridayFriday I went and looked at it, and the gate was off its hinges and had one of them bentI put it back on its hinges and told Mr*** that I would have someone come back next weekMonday and Tuesday it rained, so couldn't find anyone that would go out in the rain to repair itWednesday I had two men go over to access and fix the problemI told them to just fix whatever was wrong with the gate, no matter if it was damage, or any other problems it hadWe straitened the gate and made sure that it was working properly, but we couldn't screw one of the latches on tightly enough because it was rusted out inside, and we would need some larger, self-taping screwsWhile I was at Home Depot Mr*** calls me and starts yelling at me that the gate was not acceptable I told him that the screws would not go in properly because they had rusted out, and that we were picking up some self-tapping screws and that we were NOT finished yet! Well he commenced to yelling and cussing at me telling me this was bull@#&t and that he wants his GD money back!! He said he was calling the credit card company and the Revdex.comMy response to him was, "MrWright, first of all, I just told you that we weren't finished, and secondly, I am certainly not going to listen to you cuss me! We will be back to finish tomorrow". Mr*** responded to me by saying, "you are not coming back to my house"! I want my money back! Stay out of my F'ing yard"! I told Mr*** that if he wont allow us in his yard, then we cant fix the problem...His response was that he didn't want the gate fixed! He just wants his money refunded! I would love for this problem to be resolved, and I will do whatever I need to on my company's part, but I will not be cussed and screamed at! I treated and spoke with Mr*** professionally and respectfullyTo me it seems that Mr*** is just trying to get a job done for freeHe doesn't seem concerned about getting the gate fixedTruthfully, the gate wouldn't latch correctly before we ever even went there...But I was willing to fix it anyway, just to make the customer happy.
