I called Mark *** on August 15th concerning the complaint he registered with your office on August Mr*** purchased a Toyota Scion on August and Limited warranty expired on October 29,over nine months agoAt time of purchase he was offered an extended warranty protection
plan but he declined to enroll in the planI explained to Mr*** the protection plan would have covered the blown engine that his son was using, assuming the vehicle was maintained properlyHe said the two shops he got estimates for repairs had no explanation why engine seizedI advised him to try to put a claim under his auto policy for the cost and felt bad that he had this problem and is why we recommend to our customers the extended warranty protection plan
