Bill Byrd Kia Panama City Reviews (4)

Our salesman acted like a typical salesman from the get-go He did not listen at all to what we were telling him In this day, you can search vehicles within a mile radius for price and feature comparisons This did not seem to matter to the salesman, who continued to spill the same sales pitch over and over irregardless of the fact that we could get a much better deal at a different dealership My husband wanted to buy the vehicle for a trip that we were taking a few days later, so agreed to a Price that was $higher than another dealership I wanted to go with I told him our salesman was a schmuck, and I didn't want to do business with him He thought I was being too harsh When the two tires on the back of the van sounded like they were coming off on the test drive, the dealership agreed to put two new tires on the van, but acted like they had done us a favor Supposedly, this van that only had 20,miles, had the original tires, yet the two back tires were completely coming apart After we signed all of the documents, we asked for the second key to the vehicle, only to find out that there was no second keyThey told us it would be $for a second key and insisted that they weren't able to help us out because they had generously "given" us two new tires On top of all of this, I had spoken with the salesman at o'clock in the morning, told him I only had an hour to complete the paperwork, because I was coming from one job, and had to go to another jobHe assured me that the paperwork would not take more than an hour Waiting for an hour and minutes, an abrupt and unfriendly old grump came out with the paperwork The one hour of paperwork time turned into 1/hours Completely unprofessional all the way around A bunch of shystersTypical salesmen I have to buy another vehicle for work within the next month or so, and told them that going in They obviously didn't care about gaining a loyal customer by the way that we were treated Shady employees and lousy customer service

Three days ago we purchased a Kia from Bill Byrd Panama City, Fl. The salesman, [redacted] told us that he had reduced the price of the vehicle by $1000. The figures on the contract reflected that reduction. However, he increased the # of payments from 72 to 75. When asked why, the finance man said that it was so that the payments would be less. 3 extra payments at $304 - sure looks like the $1000 added to the end of the contract. They lied about more than one thing. We are in our late 70s with good credit. They saw us comin'.

Our salesman acted like a typical salesman from the get-go. He did not listen at all to what we were telling him. In this day, you can search vehicles within a 500 mile radius for price and feature comparisons. This did not seem to matter to the salesman, who continued to spill the same sales pitch over and over irregardless of the fact that we could get a much better deal at a different dealership. My husband wanted to buy the vehicle for a trip that we were taking a few days later, so agreed to a Price that was $2000 higher than another dealership I wanted to go with. I told him our salesman was a schmuck, and I didn't want to do business with him. He thought I was being too harsh. When the two tires on the back of the van sounded like they were coming off on the test drive, the dealership agreed to put two new tires on the van, but acted like they had done us a favor. Supposedly, this van that only had 20,000 miles, had the original tires, yet the two back tires were completely coming apart. After we signed all of the documents, we asked for the second key to the vehicle, only to find out that there was no second key. They told us it would be $327 for a second key and insisted that they weren't able to help us out because they had generously "given" us two new tires. On top of all of this, I had spoken with the salesman at 10 o'clock in the morning, told him I only had an hour to complete the paperwork, because I was coming from one job, and had to go to another job. He assured me that the paperwork would not take more than an hour. Waiting for an hour and 40 minutes, an abrupt and unfriendly old grump came out with the paperwork. The one hour of paperwork time turned into 2 1/2 hours. Completely unprofessional all the way around. A bunch of shysters. Typical salesmen. I have to buy another vehicle for work within the next month or so, and told them that going in. They obviously didn't care about gaining a loyal customer by the way that we were treated. Shady employees and lousy customer service.
