I took my [redacted] to Bill Carone to get see why my car was leaking oil. They kept the car and did a diagnostic on it. They called me back the next day to say it was my valve cover gasket that was leaking. Assuming they work on cars all the time. I believed they were correct, so I told them to fix it. I got my car back on 2/20 and paid them full amount of the bill 456.80. I had my car for two days and I noticed that the car was still leaking oil. I took the car back down there and they told me it was the Oil plug and oil pan need to changed. It seems to me that if that was the problem originally they as a car dealership would be able to see that when they did their diagnostic. The price of that repair was going to more than the first repair. At this time I wanted to get a second opinion from another dealership. I left like they didn't really know what the problem was, but just wanted to try to fix the problem.Product_Or_Service: Service to vehicleDesired SettlementI would like a refund for the services that were provided. Labor was 386.40, since this service was not the problem my vehicle was having.Business Response Customer came into our dealership on 01/02/2014 with [redacted] with an oil leak concern. Technician diagnosed vehicle and Service Consultant informed customer that valve cover gaskets were leaking and should be replaced first, but may also need to replace oil pan gasket. Customer received copy with valve cover gasket quote and was advised that oil pan gasket may also need to be replaced was not able to determine if it was also leaking at the time due to so much oil leaking from valve cover gaskets. In closing I do not feel that the dealership is at fault and will not be willing to do any reimbursement for valve cover gasket replacement. I do wish customer would have came to me with this concern I would have been glad to offer cost assistance with oil pan gasket replacement
