Hello-  My complaint still stands.  I still feel that this a deceptive business and that Dawson's response does not represent the interaction I had with the technician. I have dealt with a company that has deceptive practices and for my own emotional well being I wish not to pursue this any further.[redacted]

After reviewing the work from the business in question, I found out through another heating and cooling expert the work was not done properly. The business in question never provided me with any documentation of what they stated that they performed.

Dear Revdex.com,I am writing in response to a complaint against Dawson Heating and Cooling Company.  After receiving work from Dawson Heating and Cooling I was not satisfied with the work.  The heating and cooling unit was to have been cleaned and serviced for the summer season.  No invoice was left but they did call the next day to inform me that payment was due.  At that time I informed Dawson Heating and Cooling that the unit was not cooling and I would not pay for service that was incomplete.I then called for a second opinion from [redacted]. [redacted] found the unit had not been properly cleaned and if freon was used there should have been an invoice stating the amount of freon used.  Without an invoice I am not trusting the word of Dawson Heating and Cooling.  Dawson Heating and Cooling in response to my original complaint stated that they felt my complaint was questionable and suggested I might not be a man of character.  This is not a character issue this is a quality of service issue. Dawson Heating and Cooling has spread a web of untruths.  The truth is The service by Dawson Heating and Cooling was not completed as requested No invoice was left to document the service and record the freon use (as directed by law) I will not pay for incomplete service You may contact me through email at g[redacted] Respectfully,Mr. [redacted]

Mr. Dawson said they have done all the work possible from the outside. They need access to the inside, and customer has not provided that so far. Business cleaned and added Freon to unit and everything is fine from that standpoint. Business has not heard back from customer regarding scheduling a...

time for business to return to address unit from the inside. Customer asked for and received arrangements to pay in increments, but to date, has not paid on his balance. Business is willing to continue to work with the customer, they need to hear from him as to when to return. Technician did not post an invoice on the outside of property, customer was not home to receive the invoice.

Review: The services and flowers that were agreed upon in our contract were not provided. [redacted] is impossible to talk to on the phone when called upon to discuss. He will email you and promise to get back to you immediately, but only follows up with another email in another 10 days when you challenge his contract. After weeks of back and forth emails he has promised to refund a check for services not rendered, but I continue to wait again for my money. I feel that I have no further recourse than to file a complaint.Desired Settlement: [redacted] is to refund to me a check for $2000.

Review: My husband and I contracted with [redacted] to provide the floral arrangements for our wedding on June 28th, 2014. Included in our contract was $552.33 for setup and delivery of the arrangements. On May 14th, 2014 we met with the Wedding Coordinator at the [redacted] and [redacted] who all agreed that the flowers were to be setup prior to our cocktail hour at 5:00 pm. On the day of our wedding we arrived at the cocktail hour at 5:30 to see that the flowers were just being delivered to the venue in the middle of all of our guests. The wedding coordinator indicated that our reception may have to be delayed due to the late delivery of the flowers and a lack of resources provided by [redacted] to set up the centerpieces. [redacted] provided 1 person to assist with the setup of 18 centerpieces. According to the [redacted] Wedding Coordinator this lady was extremely overwhelmed and did not know what was to be setup or how. Our other vendors including the DJ, photographer, and [redacted] employees setup the room at the direction of the wedding coordinator in order to start the reception on time. Excluded from the delivery was a mirror indicating the table number of each guest. The delivery man had to go back to the studio to pick up the mirror and this was setup 15 minutes prior to the reception doors opening (in the middle of our guests). Also at our meeting on May 14th, [redacted] agreed to provide table numbers which were never provided and donate all of the flowers to a local charity after the wedding which also never occurred. When we entered into the venue to begin the reception the flowers provided where half the size of what we were shown at the trial. We also paid [redacted] to provide 2 smaller arrangements to donate to our church which he never provided. We have tried contacting [redacted] numerous times over the past several weeks through phone and email and have not received a response.Desired Settlement: Total Refund: $1,235.64$40 for smaller arrangements never provided $562.50 for setup (never occurred) and delivery (not delivered in an acceptable time frame)$552.30 (half of the cost of the large agreements for flowers shown at the trial but never provided)$80.84 sales tax on goods and services not provided
