We are in the process of working toward a resolution with Mr***Mr *** is driving currently driving our loaner car and he has an appointment to resolve his issue for tomorrow, Friday 7/21/and 11:amThank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,

I am in receipt of your letter regarding the above mentioned file.   Attached is a copy of the invoice for [redacted] which shows that she purchased a brake pad kit over the counter in the amount of $65.02, and the signature on the invoice verifies that she received replacement...

pads. [redacted] offers a one year one time free replacement warranty on these pads if they are installed at Bill Cram, Inc.  Ms. [redacted] purchased the pads from us and had them installed elsewhere. 'We are still have in our possession the brake pads that she stated to Steve R. were bad due to a "squeaking" condition. I noticed on the complaint she stated
they were "smoking". our managers and several technicians have reviewed the
returned pads and find nothing wrong with them. If these pads were "smoking"
the pads would have an odor, which they do not. Whenever a customer returns a part that is covered under warranty, it is our procedure to have the customer verify receiving replacement by signing our invoice. This is standard procedure and is done with every customer receiving replacement parts. [redacted] was offended that she had to sign our invoice. However, this is our common business practice. In no way was it Steve R.'s intention to offend [redacted].   He was merely doing what his job requires, explain the parts warranty and adequately document the transaction. Our service manager, Rick B., witnessed the interaction and transaction between [redacted] and Steve R., our parts manager.  Rick commented that this matter was handled in a courteous and professional manner.  The customer states we did not want to honor the warranty.  The issue was the pads should have been installed at our dealership to validate the warranty. It is our
opinion that we went above and beyond when we honored the warranty on these
brake pads even though the pads were not installed at Bill

technicians found that the “check engine” light turned on because of a loose connection involving a hose on the air box. This does not fall under the stated Lemon Law.The issue with her back window was diagnosed and found to be caused by a faulty connection inside of the master power window switch, something not covered under the stated Lemon Law.A new bulb will be needed to correct the lamp out inside the shift indicator. Again, this is not covered under Lemon Law. Ms. [redacted]’s car included the remainder of the Chevrolet Powertrain Warranty, as well as the NY State Dealer Limited Used Passenger Vehicle Warranty.Ms. [redacted] was offered and declined to purchase an Extended Service Contract. The three issues (the engine light, the window, and the gear shift lamp) are not covered under the warranties she did have.Best Regards,Amy C[redacted] President Bill Cram Chevrolet, Inc.
