We arrived to Rhode Island Comic Con promptly at 10am when it openedWhat we did not expect was that the line to get in to RICC would be over an hour long (at the very least) to get in outside in and around side streets around the convention hallThe line, if stretched out, was easily a mile longThere were people in costume and people with families with young children waiting in weather that was less than degreesThese were dangerous conditions and there was NO STAFF manning the line giving updates or helpThere were a couple of police officers, yes, but the lack of staff was absurdWe waited in the line so long that the first panel we wanted to see started and we were not in the convention hall to see it! Where was the organization?! We paid for tickets and a photo op and were still waiting in line! Finally, for the health of my family, after waiting for an hour with barely any movement, we leftHaving never gotten into the convention, missing our $photo op, and paying f

Rhode island comic con was a complete horror showI showed up an hour before the doors opened, and I had to walk a mile to get in lineThere was no direction on what the line was, where it ended, or if it was even the right oneWe waited outside in that line for hours in degree coldThe woman in front of us was disabled, and had to get out of line to sit down several timesThere was a man in a wheelchair on oxygen that nearly needed an ambulanceHalf the line was either in the road or dangerous for another reasonOnce we got to the door the staff was rude, and was yelling at everyoneThere was again no direction, and we had to walk around the *** *** center to get to the conventionThe Hall was packed with vendors and people so tight you couldn’t see or breathe or move at allI had to get to my photo op, which was downstairs and, you guessed it, outsideI barely made it to my photo op, and once I did I was scolded for not having my ticket redeemedIt’s a QR code why does it have to be redeemed? You need a paper version of the QR code even though the email said nothing about itWe had to get back in the ridiculous crap to get to the conventionHalf the doors couldn’t be used for some reason, and the security kept redirecting people to other doors to make the traffic worseI never stood anywhere where I wasn’t touching another person at all timesIt was so overwhelming we had to leave, which, we were forced to check out for some reasonNot worth the money, super disappointedThey crammed way too many people and vendors for the sake of moneyIt was a dangerous experienceIf there had been an emergency no one would have gotten outNever again, and no one I know will go again either

I enjoy the event every year and the team puts a lot of work into making the event special for all agesOf course there are things that can always be changed but they are constantly changing how things run every year

Although I see my signed name, what I believe is that the salesperson made an error, pertaining to the mileage requested. This mileage was handwritten in by Said car salesperson. I see my initials are not beside the mileage written in by the salesman, and the miles are in his handwriting not mine.  Does it make any sense to the Revdex.com that I drove the vehicle over  36,000 miles, if I signed up for only 30,000 ? My wife and I leased two prior cars from [redacted] without incident and were paid in full on time every month and year dating back to 2004. I disagree with their contract, and as I said they erred.  Thanks [redacted]

It's evident [redacted] is not willing to settle their sham of a contract they drew up and wrote in the miles after I signed, I Leased TWO PRIOR cars from them and paid both.I will not refer any of my 36,000 union fellow members to them for a car, or lease.  that contract was falsely written by unknown Kolb employee without my knowledge.  I see what kind of dealership they are, and should have given the consumer the benefit of doubt, regardless of what they say was or wasn't signed. I will fight this in court where I will represent myself, and where they will have the cost of providing an employes time or an attorney. There is no way I would waste my time fighting this sham of their contract if I was Wrong.  thank you Revdex.com for your help,

To whom it may concern;
I am in receipt of the complaint filed by [redacted] regarding [redacted]'s 2011 Subaru Legacy.
Contrary to the complainants...

claim, this information was shared with the customer when she first asked for it.
Attached are the Buyer's Order and Lease Agreement.  As you can see, both of the documents clearly list the mileage as 10,000 per year and both of them are signed by the customer.
As per the contract, Chase is asking for payment for the miles driven over the contracted mileage.
Please contact me should you need anything further.  My office number is [redacted] and my email is [redacted]

Review: I purchased an extended warranty with [redacted] Subaru. The warranty was sponsored by Signet Financial Group that declared bankcruptcy on 2011. Subaru of America, nor [redacted] did not notify me as the owner of the fully paid service. I made at least 3 visits prior to yesterdays visit. Me and my wife made a visit yesterday, August **, 2013. These visits were made in 2012 on separate dates. On those previous visits, the employee named [redacted] have been telling me that I can claim my full refund once the purchased warranty expires because this is the process. Me and wife went again to the dealer and [redacted] to alert them that we know that Signet Financial Group declared bankcruptcy. I only found out on Wednesday of last week that Signet is on bankcruptcy when I used Google to search on the status of Signet. Addtionally, [redacted] of [redacted] provided a telephone numbers to be able to submit a settlement claim during the dealership visit yesterday. The telephone # is ###-###-####. All I got was a recording to leave the name and e-mail address. We were also told by [redacted] that as part of good customer service, the dealer will give to us as courtesy a $500 worth of certificates wherein $250 can go as credit for the next purchase and $250 for services. However, these certificates can only be claimed once the form for the bankcruptcy settlement claim have been filed. This filing will appear and it will be the only time that [redacted] Subaru will issue the $500 certificates. How can I file a claim if the number provided does not work. The extended warranty expired on August **, 2013. The process to claim for a full refund, based on the documents we have in our possession, stated that submission for full refund must be done after the warranty expires and must be claimed within 1 month from expiration date of August **, 2013. Owners of the service, like me, can claim a full refund of the extended warranty if it was never used. [redacted] provided me yesterday a printed showing that no claims were made against the purchased warranty. Therefore, as it stands on the claimed advertised guaranteed full refund by Subaru of America and [redacted] Subaru, I am entitled for the full refund. This is purely misrepresentation of the product providing misinformation on efforts made by me. Several attempts were made by me but was mislead by [redacted]. It cost me $1728.00 to get the desired extended warranty service when I purchase the 2007 Subaru Tribeca on October **, 2007 with [redacted].Desired Settlement: I want my money back.

In response to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, When Mr. [redacted] signed the SFG contract he acknowledged that Performance under the agreement was the sole responsibility of SFG and is not to be construed as an obligation on the part of the dealer. No other

written or verbal representations have been made that in any way differ from what is outlined in this agreement. By signing the contract Customer agrees they have read the terms, conditions and exclusions on the front and reverse side of the agreement and under stand and accept them as outlined. (see copy of agreement front and back along with this response).

Mr. [redacted] has offered as a courtesy $250.00 coupon for Service at our service department or $250.00 toward a purchase of a new/used vehicle at [redacted] Subaru with no contingencies.

The response by [redacted] is absolute irresponsible wherein the product was sold by the dealer to the consumer held in their facility. This process indicates that the product was supported and sold by [redacted] and Subaru of America. Now tell me, does this mean that the product called extended warranty is not under the responsibility of the dealer despite the fact that it was push, supported and sold by the dealer. It is absolutely obvious that the extended warranty was sponsored, and sold by the dealer and Subaru of America.

Now with the unfortunate event of bankruptcy by Signet, the consumer here, in this case me, is left short by approximately $1700.00 which is the total cost of the product sold. It is also unethical that the [redacted] employee, who deals with extended warranty, did not informed me immediately that Signet declared bankruptcy despite the fact that I made at least 3 on-site facility and in person follow-up regarding the purchased extended warranty. I only found out of the bankruptcy after I researched the company. The dealer did not mentioned anything about the bankruptcy on all my 3 on-site visits.

This business practice is definitely irresponsible, and unethical on part of [redacted]. It is unacceptable treatment to consumer whose intent is to protect the vehicle using extended warranty sold to the consumer by the dealer.

Response:

Please see our response dated September **,2013.

This is a very unfortunate matter. As stated, the original contract was between Signet Financial Group and the customer, Mr. [redacted]. Signet Financial Group (SFG) filed for bankruptcy. We were advised by SFG to have customers submit claims in the hope that the company would have the assets to pay the claims. To date, this has not been the case. They are no longer accepting any claims and are no longer in business. As a goodwill gesture, we offered the customer the offer stated in the attached letter. That offer still stands today. This offer is only being made as a goodwill offer. We are not legally bound to do so but feel the need to do so. I will out the offer in the customer's file should he accept it.

Review: met with [redacted] car [redacted] , positive I asked for at contract signing for lease that allowed 12,000 miles per year for three years. Car turned back in on lease , and I am told by Chase auto finance that I owe 1,200.00 for miles over. They said the contract states 10,000 miles per year not 12,000 miles per year . The mileage when turned in was approximately 36,400, because I thought for certain I asked and dealer agreed to the 12,000 miles per year terms. they have ignored all my calls, and have not helped . I refuse to pay for the allegedly overage miles. [redacted] he would talk to the [redacted]. After I have spoken to hi at least three different times. Have not gotten even one call back, after three car leases from this dealer in the past 8 years.Desired Settlement: I was mislead, deceived by dealer, fee should be waived, they are at fault.
