As I mentioned during our telephone call, I did not receive any notifications prior to this current week, otherwise I would have responded to this complaint much sooner. We actually spoke with this customer & attempted to resolve the
matter but were somewhat unsuccessful due to the following reasons. We asked Mr*** to send over the invoice he had from the other companyMr*** sent a copy of an invoice with most if the information blacked out making it very hard to determine much of anything. We also contacted the company that was out there to attempt to gather some information from them however they were unwilling to cooperate in discussing the invoice informationWe asked that Mr*** forward a clear copy of the invoice with all of the information and he did not want to do thatWe then followed up with the customer again, & I actually spoke with him and asked him to send over the invoice however his attachment does not open, I told him this and asked him to fax or mail it to me and he said he did not have access to a fax machine. I am willing to consider refunding Mr*** if in fact we missed something or misdiagnosed something but I need to be provided with the proof that a refund is due. Review: Heating system stopped working. Hence, I called them to repair. The technician altered wires and said that a new part is required which will cost $400 + labor. Technician took $89 as service charge. I called another technician next day morning who said that the wires were attached wrongly. He correctly adjusted them and the unit started. He said there was nothing wrong with the unit. Hence, Bill Leary Air Conditioning was trying to sell me a part which was not at all required and changed the wiring so it would not start.Desired Settlement: I believe that the technician misdiagnosed the problem and was trying to sell me a part which was unnecessary. They should refund the $89 which they charged me.
