">This email is a response to the complaint of *** ***. When the transmission went out on his car, Mr*** was fully informed of the total price to repair prior to any work being done. Our shop is cash or credit card only. We do not carry accounts. We agreed to accept weekly payments from Mr***, per his request, to help him out. We also provided substitute transportation while the work was being performed including waiting on parts. The total bill was $3181.17. Mr*** paid $on a credit card at the time he picked up the vehicle on 10/31/14, which left a balance of $2781.17. We have not seen him since. We absolutely refute any insinuation by a “my mechanic” that the work was improperly performed. Besides, our work has a month or mile warranty, both parts and labor. If Mr*** was having issues, he could have had them fixed, free of charge. We can only assume that Mr*** didn’t come back because he never intended to pay what he agreed to. We will pursue all measures needed to collect this outstanding bill
