On November 8th, 2016, Customer brought her Dodge Truck Nitro, VIN *** IN for an oil change serviceLast date of oil change service was 6/14/16.During the inspection phase, the technician discovered and reported (per the attached invoice #***) that the transmission fluid,
cooling hoses, engine leaks/seeps, air filter and windshield wiper blades needed attention, and that the coolant "looks like chocolate milk".The technician performed the oil change.On pick up, the customer was advised not to drive the vehicle until the leakage issue and discolored coolant issue could be resolved, but stated that she needed the car to go to work, and she left.The car was towed back to BMR on 11/11/and BMR performed a courtesy diagnostic and advised the customer as to findings, which were oil in the coolant and low oilWe were unable to perform a block test due to high pressure in the cooling system and recommended to the customer a teardown of the heads and inspection for cracked head or blown head gasketCustomer declined repairs and stated she was going to have her insurance agent come down and see if she could file a claim for the damage.The next customer contact occurred on 11/14/16, at which time the customer called to say she was having the car picked up and towed away as she was going to "trade it in".Our first notification of any customer complaint was the letter received from the Revdex.com dated 12/14/16.*** ***, BMR Auto Care General Manager called and spoke with the customer on 1/6/to see if we could address all her concernsHe was told by Customer that she had given the car to her brother in law and that she did not file any complaint with the Revdex.com.*** *** told the customer if her brother in law would like to bring the vehicle to the shop we could provide a diagnostic and repair estimateCustomer stated she would let him know.1/9/*** *** left a message for Customer as he had no outreach from brother in law.1/10/Customer is not returning calls to respond to BMR attempts to resolve situation.At this time, the BMR response to the customer complaint is that the customer drove the vehicle despite suggestion to the contraryThe engine damage was a direct result of driving the vehicle with a coolant issue, against which the customer was advised, not due to any failure on the part of BMRAs customer ignored recommendations and declined repair we respectfully request the removal of this complaint from our record

I am rejecting this response because: For the principal of it . I took my car in for a oil change running fine. I waited at shop for two hours  do a oil change with no one telling me a thing. I believe his name was [redacted] called me up said they did the oil change and changed the oil plug. Told me to call Joe to get a quote on repairs and make sure and change oil in 2000 miles. He also said it my be head gasket that runs about $1,500 to $3,000 then sent me home. I still don't understand why he would change his story about that day. I did write the Revdex.com report because I feel they did and are taking advantage of me as a women and knowing nothing about cars accept what they tell me. I did not trade my car in don't know how they came up with that. I did not drive or give my car to my brother in law he is just storing it for me tell I could figure out what to do with it. I had to go buy a new car that I couldn't afford but had to get to work and didn't want to rent a car any further. It was also the holidays Christmas, new Years and vacation  time. I just didn't have time to deal with this at that time. So I really feel like they should've have offered to have fixed my car. If it was needing a new engine still don't understand why thy they did a oil change anyway. I would like a third party to look at my car and tell me what happened. I really just don't trust them any further. I really don't know what to do and would like the advice of the Revdex.com. Thanks [redacted]
