IN RESPONSE TO THIS COMPLAINT.YOU NEED TO GO BACK AND READ YOUR EMAILS.YOU WERE AWARE THAT IF YOU DID NOT TAKE CARE OF THIS 100 YEAR OLD STOVE THAT THIS COULD OCCUR.THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON THESE OLD STOVES. YOUR EMAILS STATE YOU LOVED THE STOVE WHEN YOU GOT IT.YOU DID NOT TAKE CARE OF IT... PROPERLY.AGAIN NO WARRANTY OR ANY KIND ON THESE OLD STOVES. ALL MY OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE VERY HAPPY. ONCE YOU BOUGHT AND OWN THIS STOVE YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS CARE. THERE IS NO WARRANTY ONCE IT IS OUT OF MY POSSESSION. EMAILS ATTACHED
I am rejecting this response because:HelloAll Bill Mc Cann did is send you emailsHe did not answer the letterHe also did not send you email #with all the pictures of the rusted partsHe also did not mention our multiple conversations on the phone about solving this problem He did agree to pay for the restoration of the all the rusted partsBut went I ask him to put it in writing before me sending all the parts he refusedHe said that his words are good for anyone in this wordI will forward you that emailFirst he wanted me to find someone locally to do the restorationI spend many hours-many days trying to find a qualify person to do this job( calling, emailing, waiting, calling and emailing again ....) When I found few people to do the job I communicated with Bill and he say it was to expensive and I should send all the parts to his restorerHe just make me wait and prolong the process.A restored stove should last years or more with no problem especially that my stove was never usedOnly for displayMy stove started having few black spots after a couple monthsAfter six months it was full of rustI hope you can help me in this matter.Respectfully yours, Thierry
