Review: We used Bill Quinn's service to repair some roofing shingles that came off of our room. He had done work for our neighbor on their room and it looked great. He looked at our roof, ordered shingles without giving us an option of colors (stating he would get the ones that were match) and installed them. Immediately after installation they were visibly a different color and stood out. I asked him about this and he said that they would fade to match the rest of the roof. As time went by, shingle fell off from where he installed and the color as well was looking much more different than the rest of the room (very light in color as compared to the rest of the room). I contacted him and he stopped out and met up with my husband. He told my husband that he would do whatever it took to make me happy and would order more shingles and also address the one that fell off. Time went by and he never came back. We called numerous times and left messages to see when he would be back out to make the repair/switch and then finally I reached him directly after several weeks and messages. He stated he would not be honoring the commitment he told my husband directly and that he felt he should not be out that money to make the switch. He insisted he gave us a color preview but that was not the case. He ordered the packagers of shingles and delivered them to our driveway and that was it. We were given no opportunity to decide if the ones he put up would be what we wanted. If we had been given a choice and we had chosen the ones he put up, then I would totally be in agreement with him and would not be filing a complaint. However, we went by his word that he would order the correct color (based on seeing the workmanship of our neighbor's roof) and trusted in his "expertise". He refused to come back out. I asked why he did not return the numerous calls/messages and he didnt have a clear explanation for that. He gave no further offering to help in the matter and basically appeared to not care about further making his customer happy. I wrote him a letter on May 6th and sent it Certified/Return Receipt to him asking for a response by May 17th. No response has been given. We paid $1,150.00 for this job. Note my husband is part of the National Guard Reserves that was not an option given on the menu when asking for military information.Desired Settlement: We would either like to have the shingles replaced with a color that more closely resembles our current roof color (giving us a choice) or be refunded the money we paid.

Good Morning,

I have recieved an email from Bill Quinn. He said he received a letter from your company and he is willing to fix the matter. We are still in the process of awaiting the fix as he wants us to locate roof tiles that we feel better match and he will then proceed to order and make the switch. I will inform you once he has completed the job. He said he is not sure when he will be able to come out so I am still tentative on the matter.

Thank you so much for yoru help. WE greatly appraciate it and look forward to this matter being resolved.
