12.5pt; letter-spacing: -0.55pt;">First, the car was checked out at Vedders TransmissionThey sent it to us with possible ABS problemsWe tested the systems and did not get good readings out of some of the sensorsWe continued checking the sensors and the right rear sensor had a broken bolt out of itWe pulled the right rear wheel hub assembly apart and drilled out the broken boltNext we pulled the left rear speed assembly apart and cleaned the sensor mounting bracket corrosionWe continued having bad ABS sensor readings so we ordered two new sensors and the left wheel bering, and we put those in, and we still had bad diagnostic readingsOne of the codes was the left rear inlet solenoid circuit fault which could the ABS module assemblyThis part is VERY expensive and I was not going to order it and it not fix the problemSo I removed all the new parts ( wheel speed sensors and the wheel bering assembly)MsMoore was not charged for any ABS parts or LABOR FOR CHANGING all the ABS partsThe only labor she was charged for was drilling out the bolts and cleaning of the corrosionThe engine had a noise and we checked out the engine noise finding bad belts (alternator belt and power steering belt) better known as the Serpentine beltsWe have no idea where she is coming up with the product "serpintine belt speed sensors"I called MsMoore and told her what the problems were and she ask if it was unsafe to drive and I told her that it was safe to driveThe ABS does not effect driveabilityI told MsMoore that this vehicle needed to be taken to the dealer where they had the computer system to diagnose the ABS moduleI told her everything that we had done to it and that I had removed all the new parts but had put new belts on it to fix the engine noiseShe ask how much she owed me and I told her $and she said OK that they would come to pick up the carThey picked up the vehicle on April 7, MsMoore also said that Vedders PAID us to come and get the carWe do/did not receive payment from themMsMoore then called me sometime later and I told her, for the second time, that the vehicle needed to be taken to the dealershipThe reason we can not test the ABS module is because her vehicle is an import and our computer system does not test that moduleTherefore, that is the reason I told her to take the vehicle to the dealershipWe are a small bay auto repair shop who has been in business since in SpencerYou can not stay in business...in a small town...if you are not honest with customersWe pride ourselves in our reputationWe know everyone can not be completely satisfied and we regret that MsMoore is one of those customersHowever, she really needs to follow our advice and have that systems checked out at a Nissan dealershipSincerely,
