Regarding *** ***’s Dodge Journey: *** ***
The above vehicle was purchased from *** *** Toyota on
2/6/The vehicle was brought to our service department on 2/11/for a
concern of noise when braking and the key-less remote not workingBoth concerns
were
repaired at no chargeThe second visit was 1/13/for a no start
condition and an oil changeThe vehicles battery failed a test and was
recommended to be replaced, the customer declined to replace the battery and an
oil change service was providedThis visit was no charge to the customerThe third
visit was 4/12/for lights staying on in the vehicle and an oil leak, this
visit was to North Bakersfield ToyotaThe light concern was identified as the
interior light switch being left on, the oil leaked was cleaned and dye added
and the customer was asked to come back for further inspection of the oil leak
after milesThe forth visit was 6/14/at *** *** Toyota with a
concern of the radio not turning off and the battery going deadThe vehicle
was sent to Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep for inspectionThe vehicle was diagnosed
to have a bad battery which the customer provided to be installedAlso, the
customer advised that there was a noise coming from the dash of the vehicle
which was identified as an A/C actuator failingThe actuator was replaced at
no charge by the customer extended service agreementThe vehicle was brought
back on 9/7/to North Bakersfield Toyota for an oil changed service that was
performed at no charge to the customerOn 9/17/the vehicle was brought back
to North Bakersfield Toyota for an oil leak which was repaired under the
customer extended service agreementCustomer paid their $deductible for
the repairLastly the customer brought their vehicle in on 4/21/for a noise
and loss of powerThe vehicle had a failed alternator and power steering pump
which were replaced under the customers extended service contract at no charge
to the customer
This vehicle has also visited the manufactures dealership
for repairs or diagnosis that we were not involved withThe customer advised
*** *** Toyota that the Dodge dealership did not want to help her anymore
and asked her to come get her vehicle
From our understanding, *** *** Toyota has fulfilled any
obligations that were agreed upon at time of purchase and have repaired all
items that have failed on this vehicle that were covered under their extended
service agreement or paid for by *** *** ToyotaIt appears that the
concern with this vehicle is manufacture related and we would recommend to
pursue any legal actions directly with the Dodge manufacture

Response provided my General Sales Manager and Sales associate involved.The customer asked if we would run the credit to a lot of banksI told him if they can buy we would only run oneWe originally ran Mrs*** creditInformed her we would need the husbands creditAfter collecting Mr***'
info we ran his credit and then submitted the deal to about bankswe informed them it would take $3,down to buy another vehicle because of their tradeAfter we informed of that they became upset that we submitted the deal to an additional banks and were again declinedWe did apologized for any inconveniences we have caused but this was just procedure and they applied for a loan by signing the application
