Bill's Glass and Windshields

We are working with the customer to resolve this complaint and have been all along so this complaint seems very premature When the customer made our shop manager aware of the leak she was experiencing we immediately scheduled an appointment to perform a leak test to determine the cause of the leakUpon testing we found the windshield seal to be free of any leaksWe informed the customer that there was no charge for the leak test performed on her windshieldShe wanted independent verification to convince her that the leak was not the windshield so she scheduled an appointment with another shop.When I spoke with the customer I was informed that this leak test would cost her $so I informed her that in the event the other shop determines the leak is from an improper windshield seal we will reimburse her the $and completely re-seal the windshieldThe customer is to contact me after her secondary leak test so we can proceed from there We simply cannot seal something when our testing cannot find a leakThe shop manager that performed the leak test believes the water entry is coming from another location than her windshield and an independent leak test should confirm this, in which case she will have the option to have it repaired I am confident that once the customer has more information to base a decision on we will be able to satisfactorily resolve the problem

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I will never ever take anything back to them even if it is under warranty The way this issue was addressed by this company was appalling would not recommend the to anyone Yes a check was issued for my cost to have seal replaced(per receipt) but no apologies from manager or owner after insinuating that I was lying. Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I did not do anything prematurely I brought my vehicle back to you to find the leak and was told that it was a pre existing leak and to take it to another glass company because she was 100% for sure that it was not the windshield I took my car to another glass place They found the leak within minutes, cleaned under the cowling, which should've been done before installation of the windshield, and they resealed the windshield costing me another $ Your company also broke clips on the left kick panel which will have to be replaced along with glass everywhere inside the vehicle.Sincerely,*** ***
