To Whom It May Concern: First of all the reason we are just answering the complaint late is the Revdex.com had our email address wrong and we just received our first notice of the complaint today and we are responding today Ms [redacted] contacted us regarding making a key she had lost to her vehicle We suggested we could do by the vehicle identification number (vin) and purchasing the key code through a third party, the National Automotive Service Task Force which we are a member of This method will allow us to make a key to the original factory locks and ignition of a vehicle Once the key was made Ms [redacted] tried the key and found the key worked only the tailgate but not the ignition or doors meaning that we had a good code but at some time in the life of the vehicle the ignition and door locks had been changed This happened late Friday and we had no one available or qualified to do mechanical work (pull the door panel) on her car on the weekend as our hour emergency service is primarily for lockouts Ms [redacted] asked if we would refund the entire $we explained that we had to pay NASTF for the Code information therefore we couldn’t refund all of it Also, my technicians are on commission and I still had to pay them for their work out of the $ She then asked if we would refund $which is what we did So Bill’s Lock and Key, LLC provided the service requested, a key from the vehicle identification number from her car that worked on the remaining original lock From the fee she paid I had to pay NASTF for the key code, produce a working key, pay my technician, my equipment and send a technician to the vehicle in my service van, for a total of approximately four hours of our time, and a final price of $60.00, which apparently Ms [redacted] still isn’t satisfied with I hope this gives some insight to the situation with Ms [redacted] [redacted] Owner

Ms *** contacted us regarding making a key she had lost to her
vehicle. We suggested we could do by the vehicle identification number (vin) and purchasing the key code through a third party, the National Automotive Service Task Force which we are a member of. This method will allow us to make a key to the original factory locks and ignition of a vehicle. Once the key was made Ms *** tried the key and found the key worked only the tailgate but not the ignition or doors meaning that we had a good code but at some time in the life of the vehicle the ignition and door locks had been changed. This happened late Friday and we had no one available or qualified to do mechanical work (pull the door panel) on her car on the weekend as our hour emergency service is primarily for lockouts. Ms *** asked if we would refund the entire $we explained that we had to pay NASTF for the
Code information therefore we couldn’t refund all of it. Also, my technicians are on commission and I still had to pay them for their work out of the $80. She then asked if we would refund $which is what we did. So Bill’s Lock and Key, LLC provided the service requested, a key from the vehicle
identification number from her car that worked on the remaining original lock. From the fee she paid I had to pay NASTF for the key code, produce a working key, pay my technician, my equipment and send a technician to the vehicle in my service van, for a total of approximately four hours of our time, and a final price of $60.00, which apparently Ms*** still isn’t satisfied with
I hope this gives some insight to the situation with Ms***
