We contracted with Dorshak for two separate projects over the last yearOne involved trimming very mature trees in our front yard; the second was clearing a significant amount of dead trees and brush in the backThey were not the lowest bid for the work but we trusted the approach they proposed and as a result, the lower cost bids were no longer trusted For both jobs, they showed up when they said they would, the work was completed with minimal amount of damage to other areas of the yard and the crew was hard working and professional We highly recommend Dorshak and would not hesitate to contract with them again

We recently had Dorshak Tree Service remove a couple of trees and dead limb several othersIt was just a
couple of hours after we called for the job estimate, Jesse was at our homeWe were satisfied with the estimateThe job was scheduled I had forgotten to mention a smaller apple tree in our back yard at the time of the estimateThe foreman told me a price I thought was reasonable and without having a written quote, told them to include that treeThey were fantastic, pleasant, worked hard, cleaned the yard beautifullyWhen we got the bill, there was what I thought was a $errorI called their office and spoke to a womanShe told me it may have been a misunderstanding because that foreman spoke very quietlyShe would tell Jesse and have him callWe are talking about a job over $7,I did expect the coutersy of a callNever got oneThe check has been cashedThe lesson learned is, if they want your business, they are receptiveIf you have a question or you need to discuss the bill, you will not hear from themI am sure there are other tree services out there who would have done the job as wellI would not hire them again if I can't get them to return my phone call

This is the second time we used Dorshak tree serviceThis time was not a great experienceWe had a huge tree removed in our backyardIt was a miserable day in January -- rainy,cold and the ground wasn't frozenThe crew laid plywood down to run their big machines over but it didn't do much good They kept driving off of the wood and making BIG trenches in our yard Now that the snow has melted and the grass is green , we have a big job ahead of ustry and re-level the yard & fill in the big ruts that they made We're retired and don't know if it's do-able for us If not ,we'll have to call in a company to have it doneI'm really disappointed in their work the second time around

We recently had Dorshak Family Tree & Landscape for removal of very large trees and a lot of trimming We contacted at least tree companies for the job They were not the lowest, but they were the one we chose because we felt Myron was very knowledgeable about our trees The service was outstanding The man crew were hard working, did a fantastic job and the clean up was superiorHave already called them back for some more work & now our neighbor also wants an estimate from them

I have been a customer of DORSHAK FAMILY TREE SERVICE going on yearsI have them come twice a year to spray some of my treesI have also had them come and cut down trees The workers have always been very pleasant .The communication was great and so was the cleanup .I would recommend this company for all your tree care needsCongratulations on a job well done!

I requested an estimate for work on different trees It was agreed that Dorshak Tree Service would remove storm damage from a box elder on the NW corner of my property as well as trim back an ash that was rubbing the roof of my house The wood was to be left on the ground for my disposal The price on the proposal was $
On Saturday afternoon, September 3, when I was out of town, I noticed a message on my phone It was Jesse D*** calling to say the crew was at my house and "was going to start work, OK?" I tried to call him back but the phone rang and rang, no voice mail or anything As Jesse had not given me a specific date beyond "in the next several days" to expect the work to be done, I was NOT expecting them, and especially not on a weekend day on a holiday weekend! I had wanted to be present when the work was performed, and now I clearly had no chance of that happening
When I got home, I was very unhappy w/what I found The storm damage from the box eld

I used this service last fall to take down a huge tree that was feet off the house They also did some clean up work on other trees that had dead branches I live in New Berlin and my trees are VERY old and VERY tall! They did an amazing job! There work was efficient in that all members of the crew were doing something almost all the time One was cutting the branch, one lowering it and two others cutting it up If one person didn't have something to do they started moving the wood to where I wanted it or other clean up type work I was very impressed and will definitely use them again! The owner was extremely knowledgeable and friendly!
