Good Evening, I have been in touch with the customer , the past week regarding the issue that she is having in her hallway area and have explained what the underlying issue is after (2) coats, was originally applied of Premium [redacted] Select Eggshell Paint in Lenox Tan in April 2016, throughout her first floor, except for some accent walls This includes a den area, dining room area, and living room area, and also the before mentioned hallway What the underlying issue is in her hallway is where there was a cheap flat paint previously painted in the hallway ( previous painter ) and unfortunately it's bleeding through ( possibly calcimine )the flat paint and now through the topcoat in which I appliedUnfortunately there is no way of knowing if there's a cheaper flat paint on the wall and an underlying issue until unfortunately it bleeds through the topcoatIt’s some kind of chemical reaction that happens between cheap flat paint and the underlying issue, possibly calcimine that causes a whitish hue through the top coat, and for some reason, possibly the above mentioned chemical reaction, is now bleeding through the topcoat, in which I applied This issue did not appear until months after the job was completed I was also back in at her house on September ***, to fix another underlying issue on her Living Room Ceiling in which I repaired originally in April, original job, and unfortunately had pealed again in the same vicinity, along with other assorted touchups, and at the time the hallway was not mentioned whatsoever, otherwise it would have been repaired at the same time Anyways, even though it’s months after the original job was completed, Diane and I have been in communication this past week and have decided like adults, that I am going there on Wednesday, February ***, to fix & resolve the issue in her hallway by priming the entire hallways walls with (1) coat of clear primer called Gardz by ZinsserThis will lock back the whitish haze that she’s experiencing ,that’s coming through the topcoat on walls in certain areasI am priming the entire wall surfaces in the hallway area to prevent it from happening in another area, that's it's not currently happening inThis will be followed by (1) coat of Regal Select Eggshell Lenox Tan # Hc- I am a totally honest and reliable person as Diane knows, along with her friends that recommended me to her, I just had some family issues, along with the holidays, going on at the time she had texted me the hallway pictures I always stand behind my work, as I had proven by going back there in September, months after the initial job was completed I wish it didn’t have to go this far ( being reported to the Revdex.com ) and I am looking forward to going to her house on February [redacted] and resolving the issue William
