[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: As you see in the photos, reguardless of this business’ response there should be NO reason why my car was towed from the scene and delivered to the auto body shop WITH my grille still attached, and then delivered back to my house with NO grilleIt was towed the first time away with no damages so why not the second time? That is what I’m not understandingI also wrote this complaint to begin with because no one returned my grille back to me!!! I filled this response a month later because I tried to give this company a chance about giving me my parts back they wrongfully threw awayI even had my boyfriend call, after I called several times trying to get through to someone named “tony” since he is an owner or managerI was not supposed to have my vehicle on the road because the registration was expired on the car, but I am still the car ownerJust because the car wasn’t up to police standards does NOT give this business the right to throw away my car pieces, especially if I called multiple times asking for them backI can verify me and my boyfriend called trying to resolve this issue multiple times BEFORE having to make this complaintI am not making this complaint because I am trying to get something out of it like jarrod statedIf I did I would be asking for a complete refund and a bunch of other thingsAll I requested is my grille returned to me, WHICH IS MY PROPERTY, or someone pay for my new grille that was supposed to be RETURNED to meAs you see in the pictures the grille was perfectly intact at their business, but when delivered to my house is looked like I got into a head on collisionThe proof is In the photosThis business’ response had nothing to do with even what I complained about, which is where is my grille, why was it ripped off when It was in perfect condition, and why was it not returned to me? Somebody basically stole my grille and that’s why I will continue to take further action until I get justice for what was taken from meI’m sure if the script was flipped and someone on the streets took my grille off my car and didn’t return to me, they’d be arrestedI don’t want this happening to anyone else as this is legally wrongAs I originally stated in my first complaint, I said what was supposed to be the first charge and what we compensated with in the endWhat he failed to mention is I stayed there for literally an hour from 8-9am going back & forth about the price, so if this company thinks finally agreeing to 300$ for a tow after arguing about it for an hour to get me out of their hair, is curtious then you need to relook up that definitionI’m grateful for the discount but just because you gave a different price doesn’t steer this business out of its horrible service & wrongfully taking my grille from meAlso I did hit the tree in the road which I stated before, but also did another ladyShe was at the scene before me which I’m sure the police have a report ofWas she charged for debris clean up as well or was I charged for me and hers? Pretty sure I know the answer to that! Regards, [redacted]

In regards to this complaint by *** *** ***; *** *** came to our facility for an estimate on 7/7/wrote a repair estimate for all the damages he claimed were involved with the incident he reported to *** ***In this industry, *** *** often has their own estimators come out
to assess damagesIn this instance, they came out and wrote their estimateThey felt many of the damages *** *** was claiming to be part of the same incident were unrelated, and they would not cover themI have attached the original estimate written by me, the *** *** Estimate AFTER we contacted them to come out to do a supplement for the other damages *** *** was claiming*** *** denied to fix the dents in the LF Fender, the LR Door, the LF Mirror Signal Lamp, and the RT Side of the Front Bumper CoverWe then contacted *** *** explaining he would have to pay for these, damages out of pocket or file another claim if he wanted them fixedHe approved the additional repairs, which totaled $(Attached as "Unrelated Prior Damage").Following these repairs, ** *** claimed there were pry marks in the LF Door of his vehicleI explained to him of the other doors also had marks from fingernails and wear (these other doors we did.not.take apart, only the LF Door had the interior pieces taken apart (as you can see from the estimate from *** ***, and the Unrelated Prior Damage estimate I have provided)As *** *** points out in his complaint that the LR door has marks on it as well, which was not taken apart, the Paintless Dent removal was done through a hole in the door, not by taking it apart, therefore proving what I explained to him originally; however, as a courtesy measure we replaced the LF Bezel AND the LF Chrome Insert for the vehicle free of charge to him(Attached as INV: ***)As far as *** ***'s claim about the paint having dirt in it, he is mistaken because the issue with the fender are previous stone chips, which appear as small indentations and can resemble a "fish eye", however, stone chip repairs are not covered via repair times for accidents from insurance claimsDirt nibs would be raised areas, where in this case his pointed out areas are small stone chips, which are pictures in photos I took originally on 7/7/at the time of the original estimateAs far as damage to the vehicle on the back end, the trim piece was installed outside in the parking lot, the vehicle was not even moved into our garage at any point at the time he is referring toWe reviewed our video footage from the entire time the vehicle was on our premises, and there was no evidence of it being hit or anything even coming close to the vehicleHowever, In the original pictures there is a small blemish on the LR of the Vehicle, I have not personally seen this vehicle since he picked it up the last time, so I am not sure what Rear Damage he would be claimingI have attached photos and documentation of all above statements of fact-Jarid Y***, Douglassville Auto Body & Sales Inc

This will be my final response to this issue. After reading *** ***’s clearly misguided response to my last letter, which as has all along disproved his entire argumentHe did not understand items within said last letterSo I will clarify for his understandingAs I stated in the last letter, the Chrome piece came damaged, so yes, you have it in your possession and could stop back anytime for it to be popped inAdditionally, I have the screw hole cover ordered to also install that piece whenever I receive itThe piece I did install while was the plastic Handle/cup area, which had not come damaged from fordThese Items I am replacing free of charge, as already proven. As far as *** ***’s misread of what I previously explained*** *** has it in their own record the prior damage, I had *** *** call *** ***, because I supplied them with the information *** *** gave me when he originally brought his vehicle in for an estimate, and they refused to cover any damage besides the Left Front of the vehicle, even after calling in for a supplementI did not want to be in the middle of the decision by *** *** to not cover all the damage he was claiming on the same incident, hence why I asked him to call *** *** himself to discuss their determinationAdditionally, “No work was performed until *** *** issued the supplement” is absolutely the truthWhat he is misunderstanding is that when I referred to the Front Cover already being painted, I was referring to the fact that *** *** Covered painting the LT side of the coverWhich therefore allowed me to not have to charge him for us repairing his damages on the RT side of the same cover(Which is why if you see the attached Bill for the damages *** *** paid for out of pocket, there is a under refinish timeSo, there are no lies contained in my previous statement, *** *** did not comprehend its meaning properlyAlready (meaning being covered by *** ***) not Already as in, being currently in process.I would also like to point out, I was not provided with the pictures supplied by *** ***, however he did post them on ***Which I therefore looked throughThe pictures of the door panels are all proof that the damages he is claiming has nothing to do with work performed, they show signs of wear from usageAdditionally, the damages to the back end as extremely fishy considering, if one takes notice, his license plate has been changed since it was in our facilityClearly someone had been at the rear of the vehicle to change the license plate, or whatever else may have transpired.A person actually came to our facility the day I received this response letter, which a VERY similar vehicle to *** ***’sThey are not collision customers, and just moved here from Oregon and were having notary work doneI asked them if I could take some pictures of their vehicle to prove my claims, since many of the issues are common amongst similar vehiclesTheir vehicle is a Focus Hatch with 50,milesHis is a with ~30,I have attached pictures of how the fenders on these vehicles are often littered with stone chips, how the door panels show signs of wear, and how the hatches on these vehicles rub the rear bumper covers regularlyI have also attached pictures which show the hole for the door handle and how it can be accessedA sublet vendor does my Paintless Dent Removal WorkI do not remember if he used glue pulling, or went through this handle entry hole to remove the dent, but I know the panel did not have to be removed or I would have been charged for it, or charged the customer for it.In closing, *** *** is welcomed to stop at our facility any time after he receives this letter to have the chrome strip, and the screw hole cover installed onto his vehicle; And as I previously stated we can arrange for a *** *** adjuster to come out here and go over the claim itself once again if he wishesOtherwise, this is my final response for this clear attempt at slandering our facility’s name.Thank You
