We met with [redacted] earlier this year before the tax deadline. He gave us a verbal estimate of $350 to $375 for our return prep. He gave us the forms we needed to sign ahead of time not realizing that we would never see him again. My husband gave our cc account number and authorizing the charge based on the estimate. When we received the email that it was completed the cost was $200 more and there was no explanation nor return phone call - ever! We have not heard from him to this day. I would have continued contacting but don't want to be stalking him. We wanted to understand how it could be that much more money. We called other secs. With our info and they confirmed $350-375 was the cost for the forms prepared. We have [redacted] scammed.
