Bill's Best Choice Transmissions Reviews (1)

Review: On November 7, 2013, I had my 2002 [redacted] vehicle towed to Bill's Best Choice Transmission for repair of leaking transmission oil leak. My vehicle remained in their possession for almost an entire month and after many telephone calls where I was repeated told by the shop owner Bill that he could not find a resolution to properly repair my vehicle, I was informed that in order to stop the transmission oil from leaking, my vehicle would need a need radiator. Against my better judgment, I agreed to have the radiator replaced in hoped that it would resolve the transmission oil leak. I received my vehicle during the 1st week of December 2013 and two days later I discovered that my vehicle was still leaking oil. I contacted Bill's Best Choice and was told to bring the vehicle back to the shop. I waited another couple weeks before again receiving my vehicle. One week after picking up my vehicle for the 2nd time, while driving my vehicle on the expressway, my vehicle began stalling and heavy smoke was coming from the vehicle. I pulled off the expressway and contacted Bill's Best Choice where my vehicle was towed for the third time within one month's time. Again, Bill's Best Choice Transmissions kept my vehicle for three weeks and although they provided a loaner vehicle, that vehicle also broke down on December 30, 2013 leaving myself and my daughter stranded at 7:30 am in the middle of traffic on a busy intersection while driving my daughter to school. I received my vehicle for the third time on December 31, 2013. During the week of February 3, 2014, I discovered that my vehicle is again leaking transmission oil and to add further compound what has already been a very challenging experience, I discovered that during the third time that my vehicle was serviced at Bill's Best Choice Transmission, my weather guards custom floor liners valued at $250 for two front and two back liners were missing. I am the sole owner of this vehicle and I am the only key holder, so that only conclusion that is logical is that someone at Bill's Best Choice Transmission stole the weather guards out of my vehicle while the vehicle was in their possession.Desired Settlement: At this point, after entrusting my vehicle to Bill's Best Choice Transmission on three occasions and paying out $3,305.43 for a transmission leak that is still not repaired and for a radiator that was not needed and did not resolve the transmission oil leak and after having my custom weather guards stolen, it would not be to my advantage to again entrust my vehicle to this mechanic shop. Because Bill's Best Choice Transmission could not properly make the needed repairs that I paid $3,305.43 for and because my custom weather guards were stolen while in the possession of Bill's Best Choice Transmission, I expect a full refund in the amount of $3,305.43 plus payment for my mission custom weather guards valued at $250.00. Refusal to submit a full refund plus payment for the missing weather guards will result in a law-suit.
