Review: I contacted [redacted]'s Discount carpet on 6/04/14, for an estimate for carpet installation (whole House) [redacted] came and gave me a price. We then entered into the contract. The price was agreed upon by both parties (myself & [redacted]). I picked the carpet that I wanted and an installation date of 06/12/12-this was stated verbally, and noted on the signed contract. The then Paid [redacted] the balance of the contract (paid in full) On Tuesday 06/10/14, to confirm installation date and time. It was at this point, I was told that He had to order the carpet because he did not have it in stock. He told me that it would be in on Monday 06/16/14.(TODAY) I have attempted to contact them more than once, with no luck. At this point they have my money and I have no product (Bad Business).. I have the cashed check signed with the date the check was cashed being the same day we entered into the contract. It has been ten days and nothing. If you are in the carpet business, it does not take ten days to get the amount of carpet that you need to do the job. - You took the money- this is a binding contract.Desired Settlement: They have my Money. Either deliver professionally and promptly on the terms of the signed contract, or refund my money (cash))

When I called Monday Morning and spoke with the rep. I asked her to withdraw the complaint because thee job has been completed. She asked that I sent an email stating that. I DID. In the email I asked that the complaint be withdrwn.

Please add this to the record [redacted]'s DISCOUNT CARPET COMPLETED THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: On April 25, 2014 we purchased a carpet and it's installation from [redacted]'s Discount Carpet & Flooring. Both parties agreed that the carpet will be delivered and installed on April 30, 2014 in our condo [redacted] However, [redacted] (Sales Agent) called us in the evening on April 29th. to cancel the appointment, because of storm & rainy day on April 30. I have called [redacted] every other day since April 30th., however, he does not even return my calls. Two of those calls, he picked up and promised a call back right away, however, he never called back. I've even suggested to him (left the message) that if he is not interested, please return our deposit. My wife and I are both retired, and rent our condo every summer for income. This work must be done before Memorial Day.Desired Settlement: Return of our deposit right away, if carpet cannot be delivered and installed within a week.

Job got installed on 5/18/2014 (sunday) I don't know why he even sent in a compalint. This is a frivolous complaint, there was never any set installation date.

I am rejecting this response because: I have the copy of the Purchase Order . The Delivery Date (4/30/2014) is printed on the Order. However, the carpet is installed, so we don't have further complaint.
