Review: In April 2014 I had contracted Bill B[redacted] of Bills Masonry Service of [redacted] PA to replace the slate tops of my current steps. The day after we were able to start using the steps, they had shown to be a problem, they were never measured or had been spaced properly from each other creating a tripping hazard for people using them. When I tried to contact him regarding this issue he wasn't willing to fix this issue and when he did finally agree to come out after I had threatened him with a lawsuit he wanted me to pop the slates off and then he would raise them, well he finally agreed to come out pop them off raise them which he did do but very poorly. Today the slate step came off when someone had stepped onto it injuring someone. I had tried to contact him and had texted him a picture of the steps but have not heard from him, not that he could or has the skill or pride in his work to fix it. Also the day after he he fixed it I had questioned him regarding the steps being raised without any support behind it and he told me it was fine, well guess not!! During that same phone call I had also brought up another issue with him regarding the bottom step also being loose, he told me he would look at it but never came out. His poor work has now caused an injury for someone to deal with, I would never use this company again, poor workmanship, poor attitude even worse of a person! I had another mason come out today to look at it and said he had never seen a worse job.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

A full refund of the 1750.00 spent with him for his work, I have another mason coming in to rip it apart to do it correctly.
