Case ID: [redacted]Please see the attached paperwork involving this complaint, including our towing bill and the policereport from the Police Department. Ms. [redacted] hit a tree in the middle of the road, cracked herbumper cover in half with pieces hanging off the car. in addition, her vehicle was...

towed from the scenebecause she drove passed a police officer who had the roadway closed, an‘d her vehicle was not allowedto been tltegroadyuay, since she did not have proper registration nor a llcehse, so the vehicle wasimpounded bythepdilloedepanment. As one can see from the police reptlort, she did in fact hit the treein the roadway which caused the damage and for pieces of debris to have to be removed from theroadway where she hit (in particular the front bumper cover, grille, and various other plastic shields)} y?ch when we spoke with her before she arrived at our facility she claimed there was "no damage to her'y icle" and "she didn't hit anything". Our normal rates for lmpoundment and Emergency response"“ere"$250 for towing, $75 or more for cleaning up debris (depending on the severity of the incident), andsome town f ilitles In our are do add on top of these fees (Such as, administration fee, gate accessfee, fuel surch§rgg,el§..).,ln addition, Ms. [redacted] did not have enough money to‘._pay for the entirebill of $435 at the datqshgcame _to pick the vehicle up. As she states, our facility accepted $300 so wedid not have to argue with he‘) arid would not be stuck filing for abandonment on her vehicle if she justabandoned the vehicle here. lid",-'i" "(I /I r. "'l'-Lu.-,;.'i'While Ms. [redacted] was figuring out h'ow_sh’e<i;guld7g_ather money together, l (Jarid) personally walkedoutside with her and showed her the dama§e.to_the'vehic|es front end, and that the pieces werehanging off the vehicle, and the rad support was actually bent itself [The frame in the front end which holds various mechanical components and attaches to the rest ofthe Frame Rails). After we accepted 3her $300 (an already discount for her to try to be courteous, which in reality does not even cover the$250 and the $55/day storage rate for one day, when in reality it W3$;;‘!QB‘lY§j£‘Ih3t point, I even towedthe vehicle back to her destination of choice without charging her ANV’l‘l'rli§G m:rt;e4Thls is a Ifeeofanother $85 plus mileage for non-emergency towing) when Putting the V?llitlébfifglq bed of therollback, the rest of the bumper cover pieces came apart and were discarded int6 hefddmpster at ourfacility, they are made of plastic and were not able to be used again, it wasn't even a complete assemblythey were pieces which broke off, unfortunately Ms. [redacted] did not call about this until well after ourcamera systems hard drive no longer had the video footage of these events and the vehicle still storedon them. (As one can see, she waited almost a month to submit a claim to try to gain monetary valueback because she wrecked her car, had no insurance, and must pay to have it ?xed). Ms. [redacted] isseeking damage repayment for items which were already broken, and she‘, if charged in full, would stillowe our facility approximately $250 for the additional towing service provided, and the rest of the billour facility generously reduced for her.All ln all, Ms. [redacted] is not entitled to any kind of settlement whatsoever. The facility already gave hera discount for her vehicle which was Impounded by the police department because it should not havebeen on the road, nor being operated by her. Ms. [redacted] may try to submlt any pictures she wouldlike, but in person, while she was at our facility I showed her all of the damages to the vehicle and howthe bumper cover and other components are plastic and cracked when she drove her car [Illegally] Into atree bypassing a police officer who was blocking the roadThank You,Jarid Y[redacted]Douglassville Auto Body & Sales Inc.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: As you see in the photos, reguardless of this business’ response there should be NO reason why my car was towed from the scene and delivered to the auto body shop WITH my grille still attached, and then delivered back to my house with NO grille. It was towed the first time away with no damages so why not the second time? That is what I’m not understanding. I also wrote this complaint to begin with because no one returned my grille back to me!!! I filled this response a month later because I tried to give this company a chance about giving me my parts back they wrongfully threw away. I even had my boyfriend call, after I called several times trying to get through to someone named “tony” since he is an owner or manager. I was not supposed to have my vehicle on the road because the registration was expired on the car, but I am still the car owner. Just because the car wasn’t up to police standards does NOT give this business the right to throw away my car pieces, especially if I called multiple times asking for them back. I can verify me and my boyfriend called trying to resolve this issue multiple times BEFORE having to make this complaint. I am not making this complaint because I am trying to get something out of it like jarrod stated. If I did I would be asking for a complete refund and a bunch of other things. All I requested is my grille returned to me, WHICH IS MY PROPERTY, or someone pay for my new grille that was supposed to be RETURNED to me. As you see in the pictures the grille was perfectly intact at their business, but when delivered to my house is looked like I got into a head on collision. The proof is In the photos. This business’ response had nothing to do with even what I complained about, which is where is my grille, why was it ripped off when It was in perfect condition, and why was it not returned to me? Somebody basically stole my grille and that’s why I will continue to take further action until I get justice for what was taken from me. I’m sure if the script was flipped and someone on the streets took my grille off my car and didn’t return to me, they’d be arrested. I don’t want this happening to anyone else as this is legally wrong. As I originally stated in my first complaint, I said what was supposed to be the first charge and what we compensated with in the end. What he failed to mention is I stayed there for literally an hour from 8-9am going back & forth about the price, so if this company thinks finally agreeing to 300$ for a tow after arguing about it for an hour to get me out of their hair, is curtious then you need to relook up that definition. I’m grateful for the discount but just because you gave a different price doesn’t steer this business out of its horrible service & wrongfully taking my grille from me. Also I did hit the tree in the road which I stated before, but also did another lady. She was at the scene before me which I’m sure the police have a report of. Was she charged for debris clean up as well or was I charged for me and hers? Pretty sure I know the answer to that!

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: everything provided in previous responses! Again a authorless return letter, none the less there were no "wear" marks on the left rear door panel. The example is of a driver front door panel which looks similar to mine, totally agree, but that's not the door panel in question. No one rides in the driver side rear of my car ever, since I have owned the vehicle. My seat sit to far rearward to accommodate anyone. My Daughter from time to time will sit in the rear passenger side and her door panel is perfect. So now what? Douglassville Auto Body has done very poor work and has been able to starve off fixing it for way to long. I have started speaking to people that I have come across and they have had similar situations of vehicles having occurred the same fate as mine, work not completed as requested, interiors or vehicles not properly put back together, and paint finish issues. None the less that's why they are not a [redacted] approved shop per conversation with a high up [redacted] rep. To the issue of "previous damage" [redacted] has it marked several times in there reports that there was more than one impact in the given situation and each time the vehicle moves changes direction etc. its treated as a new claim. The team members did say "that may be a poor use of words on our behalf, but that is how it is in the system as, but it is noted as happening the same accident report".  So bow out, you have robbed yet another customer and pass on a more leery customer for an upright, professional shop to rebuild the customer/repair ship relationship.
