The Owner *** is awesome. He is reliable, and charges a resonable rate. The work he does is beyond our expectation. We have and will call him for both big and small plumbing repairs.
did house inspection said a few galvanized pipes. I move in, with a paperclip in the toilet,leaky vanity. Paid $1000.00 to fix and 2 trips. Not fixed
March I hired *** for a house inspection. They said no issues, a few galvanized pipes to be replaced. I bought the house, moved in, flushed the toilet and it literally rained in my basement. I hire them and there was an issue with the vanity. As well, the toilet is broken and has a paper clip in it. They said it wasn't sealed and fixed the toilet and vanity. They have been here twice to fix this issue, and it isn't fixed. While fixing it the new owner said the previous owner was done and never should have passed this house, it has major plumbing issues...... I bought a house based on their inspection, and now they can't fix the issue and I have to hire a new plumber after giving them about $1000.00 out of pocket and are not taking responsibility for it. *** How did he not notice the paper clip in the toilet, or the fact that the sink still leaks each time he left my house.....
I have to pay someone else to fix the plumbing issues. I also want my inspection money back, as they didn't properly inspect this house, but had no problem cashing my check and taking my money. I paid $200.00 to fix the leak and $125.00 for the inspection. I am ok paying them to replace the galvanized pipes, but not for the leak and inspection. I have to pay someone else to fix this leak, as they can't seem to.
yes I did replace the cast in the house, no leaks when tested the work.
repaired a drain under the vanity to a galvanized fitting where the water was draining behind her wall, no leaks after repair and recommended that she gets the cast and galvanized replace before it causes a further issue, she did not agreed to have that section replaced while I was replacing the cast in the basement.
that day I also replaced the vanity faucet, kitchen faucet, shower head in the tub, when I also informed her that I do not guarantee parts that I do not supply.
when I went back to clean the carpet spots after I replacing the cast she informed me that the vanity was leaking and I found the leak was through the pop-up linkage and I replaced the O-ring for free, no leaks where present when I tested afterwards, not where I had made the initial repair.
I have refunded the $200 that I billed here for the initial repair to the vanity drain.
as for the paper clip I was not asked to inspect the toilet.
As for the inspection, it was done by previous owner of the business and was while I was away at school when this was done.
please inform me of anything I have done wrong and what is needed to resolve this incident.
