Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Regards, [redacted] Yes neither of us was very pleasant to each other, but no neither of us was irateUnpleasant and irate is two complete different thingsMsV [redacted] stop trying to justify your rudeness and your lack of following through by trying to make me sound like I was belligerent and threatening, that just did not happen and you know it I rented and paid for a storage unit with an access code for gate and alarmWas never able to enter gate with my access codeI returned the lock, ended contract and was told I would receive a full refund in about weeksI have this in writingOver six weeks later I still have not received a check The phone call from the owner, I was not told he would not do business with me, he ask me to come back and he would fix the problemI told him it would be best if we ended our business relationship and he give me a full refundHe agreed I am rejecting this response and requesting a check immediately because it’s been well past the time I was told I’d receive a refund check Any other response must be from the owner and not MsV***

timeHe called at 5:on the afterhours lineHe was called back within two minutes after call going to voice mail after hoursI was in the grocery store at the time and notified Mr*** that I was not in the office and didn't have access to that information but would call as soon as possible when I returned homeCalled Mr*** back twenty minutes from time of call even after letting him know he would have to allow at least an hour for me to return his callI logged on to our system from home and called him back within that twenty minutesI verified the number he was using for the gate access and it was correctI mentioned to him that we had just up graded our computers and wasn't sure why it wasn't working at that timeI provided him with a temporary code and let him know that would allow him to put his items in his unit without delayHe mentioned the alarm issue and I instructed him I would see it go off on the system but can silence that from our programAt the end of our conversation he thanked me for helping himOn Tuesday, July 14, 2015, Mr*** came into the office at 5:as I was renting a unit to a tenant that had arrived late from Artesia, NMMrI acknowledged him and said I would be right with himMr*** waited until I finished with the new tenant and then said his code was still not workingI explained to him that I would assign him a new code as we had upgraded our computers and show it was assigned but it wasn't workingHe became very irate as I was looking at the system and asking him to choose a new codeHe became very angry and arguing that he just wanted his money backI told him that we were not aware that his code was still not working as he never notified us again until that dayHe first let us know of the issue on Friday and just came in on Tuesday to let us knowHad he notified us sooner we would have known that he was still having issuesHe was given a temporary code in order to put him items in his unit which he never did since he told me he still had the lock in his vehicle and unit was emptyHe complained that he wanted back his administration fee we charge and I agreed that I would refund the entire amount including rental feeMr*** was notified that it would take approximately 4-weeks to process and he said that was okAs for the mention of the office closed at 5:pm, those hours have been in place for almost two years and it is also on his rental contractI attempted to resolve his issue and he was very rude and irate with meImmediately after he left the owner was notified and he contacted Mr*** and notified him that due to his behavior we would no longer do business with him at our facilityHe was also told that we would refund him the entire amount since it is our policy to not refund the administration feeThe refund has been submitted to our CPA for refund and are awaiting a check payable to Mr*** for the full amountSincerely, Angela V*** Facility Administrator Billy the Kid Storage E Country Club RdRoswell, NM

Yes neither of us was very pleasant to each other, but no neither of us was irate. Unpleasant and irate is two complete different things. Ms. V[redacted] stop trying to justify your rudeness and your lack of following through by trying to make me sound like I was belligerent and threatening, that just did not happen and you know it.
I rented and paid for a storage unit with an access code for gate and alarm. Was never able to enter gate with my access code. I returned the lock, ended contract and was told I would receive a full refund in about 4 weeks. I have this in writing. Over six weeks later I still have not received a check.
The phone call from the owner, I was not told he would not do business with me, he ask me to come back and he would fix the problem. I told him it would be best if we ended our business relationship and he give me a full refund. He agreed.
I am rejecting this response and requesting a check immediately because it’s been well past the time I was told I’d receive a refund check.
Any other response must be from the owner and not Ms. V[redacted]
