building property or near our store. There are, however, two large planters in front of our store, one that parallels our walkway (pictures attached). On this day, I saw this woman, who had been a customer, walking with her dog as if she was passing by the doors, however when she got to the planter that is in line with our doorway she stopped and let her dog sniff around for a minute and then urinate all over the wall of the planter which then spread from there to our walkway. We understand that accidents happen, however there is a dirt, plant filled sidewalk within 2 feet of where her dog peed. We are a market and deli that is family owned and low staffed. Our store’s cleanliness is priority. People will accidentally walk through the dog’s puddle of urine and then track it straight into our store. We asked her if she could clean it up, she refused and said she has no control of the dog. Because of her blasé attitude, her refusal to clean her dog’s waste, and the unsanitary issues with this incident we have reserved our right to refuse service to this previous customer.  Thank you for your time.
