Due to the belligerent rude and obnoxious behavior of this home owner, this was a very difficult customer to serviceWe had to cancel the remaining (porch railing) portion of the contract because our tradesman refused to go back to the siteI credited them the $750.00In response to first
complaint that ***t charged $for porch cieling soffits and homeowner believes that it was suppose to be $Please see attached document Job Change Order that was signed and verbally acknowledged by the home owner.In response to the 10% off couponThe home owner did not present the 10% off couponThey presented a free entry door with complete siding job coupon which we honored by closing off a man door on the rear of their garageThe home owner appeared pleased with this and we had no complaints or questionsThe 10% off coupon in question was not ever brought up because it was not available when the contract was signedAlso it clearly states that the coupon must be presented (AT TIME OF ESTIMATE) Not days after the job was paid in fullPlease see attachment.In response to the roof issueWater getting behind gutterBiltmore DID NOT install the roof on this houseI pointed out to the customer that the reason they where having this problem was because who ever put the roof on did not allow for enough over hang past the drip edge at the eve of the gutterI walked the home owner around the house and showed them examples of where it was done right and confirmed what the problem was on the back porchI suggested that perhaps a simple slip flashing to extend the shingle further into the gutter might remedy the problemShe asked if I could do it and how much it would costI told her I would do it for $She then asked if I could guarantee that it would fix the problemI told her that I could not do that because we did not put the roof on the houseI also suggested that she call the roofing company out that put the roof on and ask them to fix itshe seamed reluctant to do so. I will be happy to refund the $and strongly advise them to have the roofing company fix their issue. This customer also Manipulated my painter into providing $of additional painting that was not a part of our agreementWhen I mentioned it to the customer he had no response to for me. From my Painters invoice he writes (This customer was next to impossible to work forThe fact that he stood over your shoulder at all times to the point that we had to ask him to move so that we could do our workmade for a very difficult work environmentEverything that was requested was done no matter how unreasonable it wasColor changes, Add ons excessive caulking Palm sanding ectWe did numerous things through out the job that where not included in the bid just to make them happyOn a final note if they where not happy with the work then why where they trying to get my workers to come back and do some additional painting on their own timeAt one point the customer stated that ( You dont want to f* with him) My painters invoice was $over the original bidI just wanted to be done with these people so I decided to just cut my losses and move onTheir was NO PAINTING CONTRACTED FOR THE FRONT OF THE HOUSEoverhead garage doors and front porch stoop(see Contract) When asked about a shutter credit. I told the customer that we did a bunch of painting that was not part of the contract and I would just call it a washThey said nothing. At one point the women of the house started to cry and apoligized for her husbands unreasonable behaviorShe also disclosed to me that he suffers from *** * *** *** ***
Resolution. I will refund $for our attempted roof repair. I will send the year labor warranty*** ***President.Biltmore Exteriors Inc

*** * *** ***Response to message from Biltmore ** *** *** *tated that Tradesman (carpenter) refused to come back because of home owners rude behavior He is the one who gave us his card in case we wanted extra work done We were told that he no longer worked for them The reason they couldn't finish the porch rail When ** *** talked to me about my husbands unreasonable behavior I responded by telling him I was in management for over years and dealt with many different personalities He admitted to me that things such as carpenter and painter estimates were not presented by Tradesman properly and should have been handled differently I did start to cry and stated I was really frustrated that everything that I wanted done I couldn't have completed I said it before and I'll repeat again that ** *** told my husband to watch and if there was anything he didn't like he'd rather know in process rather than later when they had to do it over A good painter sands and caulks A good businessman keeps tabs on his Tradesman As homeowners you want the job done properly I have no reason to be anything but truthful ** *** told me he was a roofer for years and that time he guaranteed it would take care of my problem leak with the drip edge he would bend at the shop for a total of $ He did not say he wouldn't guarantee it until he cut it into pieces and pounded it to my roof "Then he said" you have a check for me?" ** *** feels has a "licensed" diagnostic ability to state that my husband has *** *** with belligerent rude and obnoxious behavior posted publically with his slanderous comments What I wanted when I employed Biltmore Exteriors Inc was everything I expressed needed to be completed in this project our satisfaction guaranteed not assumed What should have been a rewarding experience became a violation of trust Whatever ** *** would have recommended or advised would have been considered instead he created this process of "he said-she said" We did present our 10% coupon to *** ***k who was Biltmore's representative on May 28, when we started this project He was dismissed by Biltmore and the process had to be started all over again I did receive a year labor warranty from Biltmore but not a siding warranty If you read their ad they promise unparalleded quality of professionalism expertise and exceptional customer service However it seems if they don't like the customer their promise is cancelled

In Response to rebutle.  The home owner never presented a 10% off coupon at the time that I wrote their new contract.They did how ever mention the free entrance door with whole house siding that we honored and agreed to close off the back entrance door  to the garage in exchange.Home owner was pleased with this,and had no complaints. Should they have presented a 10% off coupon it would have been invalid due to the disclaimer that only one coupon per project could be used and also it must be presented at the time of the estimate. Not 6 weeks after the job was paid in full. If they had a concern or question about the 10% off coupon then why did they pay the bill in full????? Why six weeks later would they bring it up???????These people expressed no concerns or complaints when the job was finished and payment requested. I credited them back $750 for the railing portion of the job. They had no complaints and agreed to the refund.This customer did tell me that they received numerous complements on the appearance of their new siding and windows. I am going to send them a refund for our attempted repair of the faulty roof that some other contractor installed. I will send them their siding manufactures warranty. I will NOT waist any more of my time on this frivolous complaint. This is a classic example of someone attempting to get something for nothing. If they insist on continuing this nonsense then, I will insist that they pay for the $850 bill for painting that the home owner bullied and conned out of our painters.Also they should realize that no names our mentioned on this site so that they are protected from slander.I am requesting that this frivolous complaint and attempt to swindle Biltmore out of money be stricken from our well earned rating with the Revdex.com
