I did apologize to A.E. for not contacting them first. There are two scenarios here; 1. there was an honest mix-up, or 2. someone tried to pull a fast one and got caught, albeit 18 months later. I do find it hard to believe a company in business for so many years could make such a bad mistake. Our first notification of this issue was when we received the letter from your agency. Later that day a friend notified us of a post he had put on Craigslist. We are also...

including a copy of that here. We immediately, contacted the seller to gather more information and resolve the issue. In talking with Mr, [redacted] we inquired as to why he didn't notify us of the issue first and he stated that he had a string of bad luck recently and this was just one more thing that wasn't going right.As for the resolution, after reviewing document we had at our dealership, contacting our supplier and reviewing pictures from Mr. [redacted] we determined that a mistake was made on our end. Basically 2 very similar machines were sold in the same 2-week period with conversations going on with both and basically, we got mixed up on which unit went to which customer. We have spoken with Mr [redacted] and agreed to send him a reimbursement of the $500 he had requested.
