Review: I went to this medical office on 12/**/2014 for a routine preventative checkup. I notified the doctor and the office verbally and in writing that only preventative procedures should be done. When the doctor said he was going to perform a [redacted] and [redacted] swab test, I refused and said I don't need those tests done because I have absolutely no reason to believe I am at risk for these diseases. He said he understood, and put the swabs down, and I received ONLY a pap smear. When my bill came, I noticed that me and my insurance were billed for the [redacted] and [redacted] tests. I called, and [redacted] from [redacted] stated that she saw on my notes that I refused these tests, and verified that these tests were not done on me and that they should have not been sent out to the lab, because they were blank tests. She said to fax her the bill and she'd get it waived. I faxed her the bill and wrote that she should call me back to verify she waived the charges. I never heard back, so I faxed again. I still never heard back. I called the doctor's office and asked them to verify if these charges were waived, and they said that they definitely were waived and I didn't have to worry anymore. About 1 week later, I called the laboratory back to verify that my charges were waived. They said they were never contacted by [redacted] at the doctors office and I still owed for the tests I never had done. I can't seem to get these charges waived. Please help me.Desired Settlement: Adjust my bill IMMEDIATELY
