Biocide Labs Reviews (%countItem)

Product definitely does not work stay away I launched 40 bombs in my house one of them actually discharged completely had to go back and shake each 1 to make them function not an effective product at all we'll be getting my $2500 back OMG video to follow you won't believe it. Some of them didn't even stay locked some of them spittled the stream straight up in the air some of them didn't work at all most of them only worked for 2 seconds and you had to shake them again and mind you I shook each one prior to setting them off for at least 5 seconds. No small feat to demold your house trust me do not use bioside.

Horrible company
I ordered Biocide products over the phone from Biocide Labs salesperson Karl on January 7, 2022. I told my daughter who suffers from Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome due to mold exposure about the purchase and she looked at the ingredients and told me they would be too toxic for her. I was NOT told by Karl there was a no return policy and he also told me they were non-toxic (LIAR). On Monday, January 10, 2022 I called and cancelled. They told me it had already shipped and I couldn't cancel because the products would be contaminated once they reached my doorstep. I solved that problem my immediately calling FEDEX and having the delivery cancelled and returned to Biocide. The eight packages never reached my doorstep and therefore NOT contaminated. Biocide has refused to reimburse me the $2,871.92 on my CITI VISA card. If you put the FEDEX tracking number into the FEDEX site you will see the package never reached my home and was returned to Biocide (they even signed for it). They have how said that any product that leaves their warehouse can't be returned due to possible contamination. HA! HA! Just curious, did my returned Biocide lab products in the amount of $2871.92 get destroyed since they were contaminated from leaving their sterile warehouse or did they get sent out to another customer? We all know the answer to this question, don't we? This company has a B rating on the BBB site and doesn't have BBB accreditation. There have been 34 complaints closed in the last 3 years and 18 complaints closed in the last 12 months. It doesn't surprise me this company doesn't have accreditation which means you meet BBB standards which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. It means you would have ethical advertising, selling and customer experiences, nothing I have experienced from this company.

Horrible Scam
I tried to refund the product before it got shipped to my home and I said I didn’t need all that (2k) worth of stuff. They took off one air scrubber (530) , and I was left to pay $1500. They delivered it to my garage door and there was no way to return it. The representative said to put a mold bomber in my attic and I fell through the attic. Fortunately I didn’t crack my skull on a countertop or hit the floor. It took about three weeks to heal the bruises. I was told by the representative that the leak in my mothers bathroom was a mold remnant and not a leak. That is not true. The representative was not at my home to see what was going on and gave advice anyway. I wrote a BBB review and asked for a refund of $1500 and was told by the company that they are not scammers and that they are a nationally known product. Don’t ever buy these products -they don’t work. They shouldn’t give advice for issues that they can’t see.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS
I have mildew/mold smell in a bedroom (although so far not been able to find or locate the source) and ordered a can of $29.95 Mold Bomb online to see if this would help with the odor/smell as advertised. After placing order I was immediately contacted by Bio*Cide Laboratories John Chameli, Certified Mold Specialist, telling me that Mold Bomb would not be enough to resolve this order/smell and I needed this $530.00 Kit to fully resolve the issue. So thinking he was the expert I did provide credit card number.

Received my can of Mold Bomb the next day and it has so many warning labels on it (beyond what is posted on their Online Store) I contacted Customer Service right away to get an RMA to return the product and tried to cancel the $530.00 Order that is in flight.

Customer Service sent me to John Chameli and he wanted to know what was was wrong with product. Told John I did not feel safe in applying this product due to all the warning labels posted on the can and was seeking refund for both orders including the $530.00 order in-flight.

He informed me Bio*Cide Laboratories does not allow the return of any products unless defective of which they will replace if they are defective. Also once the product ships out of their door; then this product is deemed "Contaminated" . Per BIO*Cide "Terms & Conditions" in fine print and states they will not accept returns due to they consider the product "contaminated"...even if it has not been delivered to your location or door yet.

This is clearly Deceptive Trade Practices and Interstate Fraud if I ever saw it. I will be filing complaint with BBB, State of Georgia Attorney General and other legal sources.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS.

Another Bait and switch victim
Order one product, fogger, and received another product spray. "John", always said "I will call you back". He never called. The product arrived late and was not what I needed. Once they didn't respond, I made other arrangements which worked just as good with Home Depot and Lowes products. Horrible customer service...

SHADY COMPANY AND PRODUCT
TLDR; Bait and switch company avoids customers after purchases and refuses refunds. BBB has numerous complaints against them.

I was looking to combat a mold issue going on in my place and initially purchased Biocide's Fogger. Their "customer service" guy John called me shortly afterwards explaining they were out of stock of the fogger and that this biocide 100 would be the product I needed anyways. After listening to what I later learned was the same script they use on their website, he offered me a discount on a 4 gallon case of this stuff(after asking about the building size and layout) and would cancel the initial order while placing this new one.

I noticed this was delivered in two boxes... it was only supposed to be one. It seemed John forgot to cancel the initial order. Things happen. No big deal. I'll call after I've used this product to see if I have any questions about it.
I followed John's instructions on applying and using this. I directly sprayed mold in a few spots, and was testing misting as well as completely soaking spots. 10 minutes later the mold wouldn't wipe away and spots that were sprayed on hard surfaces are sticky. I thought maybe it needed to sit overnight to really work so I wiped up the residue where I saw it and checked it the next day.
BARELY any change. Infact, only one tiny section had the mold gone and I'm pretty sure I accidentally had sprayed that spot with lysol prior to applying the biocide.

I tried to call John and wasn't able to get anyone to pick up that entire day.
The second day, John picked up the phone. Said he'd have to check on the refund and call me back and took down my number. Which is weird since he called me to reach out about my initial order. Didn't hear back.

I researched this company and found out they have numerous complaints from the BBB and stories that are identical to my exact situation!
Not only that, but John didn't give me any sort of discount(but believe me, this is the absolute least of the worries here).

A few days later I try to call again with no answer. Finally John picks up again. Got another run around and excuse as to why I don't have the refund but he will make some calls and get back to me.

Can't get through to anyone. Tons of reviews online of similar horror stories with this company. Will be hiring a company to deal with the mold since this sugar water didn't work.

Stay away from this product and company.

requested full refund of unopened product recd 10/08, called them 4x they took my # and promised to call back, still waiting to hear from them.
on 10/08 we ordered the Mold Bomb, was advised (via email) a different product will be shipped due to overwhelming requests, then giving Bio-Cide # to call. We called, talked to John he "upgraded" Mold Bomb then started in on sales pitch for unit to clean out entire house of mold. Sounded good, John said he would give the unit to use for $395.00 total. John said unit can be returned if we change our mind at their cost for postage/delivery and our account immediately credited. We decided to get the unit. Hung up w/John.
After discussing it further, pricing it elsewhere, we changed our minds the next morning. I called John on 10/09 at XXX-XXX-XXXX advised we changed our mind. He said unit already went out but he took our number and will call me back to let us know how to send it back.
Waited until 10/11 still no call back, called John again. He answered but again gave me the same run around and took my number and said he would call back.
On Monday 10/12 I called the main #XXX-XXX-XXXX but got voice mail. Let a complete message of issue.
On Tuesday 10/13 I called John, he wanted to take my number again and call back. I said I would hold. He placed me on hold then came back and said he has to go to another "office" to get the information. I also asked him at this time why the unit cost us $530 when he quoted a price of $395? He quickly said that is all the chemicals you will need to add to the unit. It upset us we had an additional cost, obviously we need the chemicals but it would have been nice to have been quoted the price at the time of sale. I said I did not mind holding. He advised me at that time he could not leave me on hold because it would take him awhile and he had another person on hold. He again said he would call me back.
4 calls have been left with this company, no one has called me back. All we want is to return their package/unit and get a FULL REFUND OF $530.00.

Desired Outcome

FULL REFUND OF $530.00 AND RETURN THE UNIT

I'm very pleased with the customer service and the guide they gave me to do the job, and get ready of mold and any viruses in the apartment, thanks again John and Caleb.

Great follow up and Customer Service, made the treatment process easy.

Excellent salesman, answered all my questions. Great product highly recommend

I use these products all the time. Biocide 100 is great not just for mold but as a disinfectant. Customer service is phenomenal. I just found out Biocide 100 kills covid as well. Highly recommend.

Either the Product they sold me and said I needed didn't work or they sold me product I didn't need.
My home tested for low levels of mold and I was referred to Biocide labs. The salesman told me I needed to remediated and he would sell me a kit with everything I needed and it would take care of the problem completely. I am clueless about this stuff. At first he told me it would be $1,700.00 but said he was running a special and sold the kit to me for about $950.00 (should of know when they told me this). They sold me about 24 mold bombs, 4 GALLONS of Biocide 100 (3 gallons too many) and an air scrubber. After we did the remediation, we tested again about 2 or 3 months later and still had low levels of mold. I called them to ask for a refund and this time they told me that all homes will have low levels of mold. So if that's true, then why did they sell me the kit in the first place? Now remember initially he told me it would wipe out the mold completely. They refused the refund and kept putting me on hold multiple times. It was apparent that since I already purchased the kit, I was no longer important to them. They tried passing blame on to the company that referred me to them by saying that they just followed the recommendation. So then why are they reading the 2nd report and giving advice on it? I felt like I was taken by a used car salesman over something that is valuable to someones health. The lead sales man was quite rude from the beginning and it quite obvious they are selling people stuff they don't need. Most of my conversations were with him. Please also read the reviews on amazon on their products. No would would use that much of the Biocide 100 in a lifetime. Rather the Biocide 100 works or not I'm not sure. I did ask them for a refund on these as well and they told me they would if I sent them back, which would be very expensive. They oversold me for profit on these which furthers proves my initial complaint. When its all said and done they sold me a mold remediation kit for something I didn't need to do.

Lead Sales Rep was Rudy
I don't have any order numbers because they never sent me anything after I ordered.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund on everything you sold me because I didn't need any of it. I'll send back what I have but at your cost.

There is no contact info on who to reach out to. If it's Rudy that would like to talk to me, I'm not interested. That got me no where and he kept putting me on hold.

I have 3.5 gallons of the Biocide 100 left and that it. I used all the mold bombs per your instructions. I would be willing to accept a refund on the Biocide 100 and mold bombs I used but didn't need. I would be willing to eat the cost on the 160 dollar air scrubber you sent and keep it.

This company has amazing products that are safe and easy to use. There is not a more economical way to take care of a serious mold problem. Great customer service as well.

I'm a property manager and had to have the linoleum replaced in one of my apartments. When the floor people started work they found the floor was wet and suggested we have it tested for mold. The test came back positive for mold and the test people recommended Biocidelabs. I contacted Biocidelabs and they told me they had a kit that would do the job of eradicating the mold. After I did the treatment, following the instructions from Biocidelabs, we had the unit retested and found that the treatment I had used was a complete failure. I had paid for the kit myself and would normally bill my clients for the almost $2000.00 the kit had cost me but couldn't in good faith do this since I was the one who set it up so I'm out $2000.00. Since I felt I had been misled by Biocidelabs as to the kit eradicating the mold I e-mailed them about my complaint and asked for a refund. As I expected I haven't heard a word from them.
Product_Or_Service: Mold eradication kit
Order_Number: Inv. #XXXXXX

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like to have my money refunded and require Biocidelabs inform prospective customers that their treatment kit may not work as in my case
