BioLite

Purchased a BioLite stove. It has never been used. After checking to see if it held a charge, I attempted to charge the unit. It would not charge. I contacted BioLite for support. While they have responded to every email, I was told there was nothing they could do since it was past warranty period. I was offered a discount on a new item. Since the item I had malfunctioned without ever being used, I did not want to spend more money and take a chance on another of their products. There are companies that take care of their customers, BioLite is not one of them! Not sure why the power pack cannot be serviced or replaced. Since it is past warranty period, a cost is expected, but this was not offered.

I'll give it 1 star for my Solar Panel that works as advertised BUT I bought a BaseCamp Pizza Bundle and while the powerpack seemed to work the first time: fan came on and 2 of each type indicator lights illuminated. But 2nd use got nothing from powerpack only a smokey burnt pizza because no fan. Read FAQs on website that powerpack is charged before shipping so was that why worked first time? Absolutely no response to my 2 contact forms and 1 email to BioLite and yes I had registered my warranty immediately upon receiving it. I have received several emails regarding sales but no word from support eventhough website states 48 hour turn around. Cannot express how disappointed I am in this company's total disregard to their customers, and I am finding out that there many of us out there. Currently working with my credit card co. for resolution, and of course there's BBB, consumer protection... stay tuned

I wish that I could give them a zero rating. They have the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with! I received a Base Lantern that would not light, would not charge or do anything, it was completely dead! I contacted the company several times by phone leaving numerous messages and have sent them several emails all of which have been ignored and still no response. All I want to do is return the useless lantern and get a refund, since they will not replace the item! Do not deal with this company.

Review: I purchased a BioLite camp stove and found after using it one time that it does not charge any of my devices (IPad, iPad mini, kindle fire, Sony Xperia TL, Huawei U8665). After troubleshooting online and running the stove for 2-1/2 hours, I emailed customer service. I was informed by a customer service rep. ([redacted]) that they will not refund a used stove. How else do you find out that something doesn't work?Desired Settlement: I want my money back for a product that doesn't work as advertised.

I purchase a Biolite from the company and was satisfied with it. I then purchased their Sightlites from [redacted]. When connecting the Sitelights to the Biolite, the Sitelights shorted out the Biolite and it would not work. I contacted the company and was sent a Fedex form to return the Biolite for replacement. I returned the Biolite and never heard another word from the company. I know they received the product back as the [redacted] tracking shows that. They have ignored 4 or 5 emails I sent inquiring about the replacement. The products they make may be good but they are a terrible company to get any service from.

Review: I ordered a Biolite Campstove and when it was shipped, it was damaged. I immediately emailed the company per their policy and have heard nothing regarding getting a return label. I ordered a second Campstove to replace the damaged product in the meantime. I have emailed them several times requesting a return label. The product is unused and ready to be returned.Desired Settlement: I would like to return the damaged product for a full refund.
