Bioscrip is a home infusion company, per medicare guidelines you can only bill medicare for payment/Denial on nursing visits if you are certified home health agency which Bioscrip is notWe recently met with Medicare on behalf of our patients to resolve this issue as it is not fair to our customer
that they are charged for the nursing visit that would be covered if they used a certified home health agencyWe have currently put a new policy in place to have these charges billed to Medicare on the customers behalfI will review this account and bill the appropriate claims to medicareWhen and if the patients secondary insurance company pays we will issue a refund.Thank You
